The pre-draft process is officially in the books, and all eyes in the NFL world are now focused on Green Bay and the first round of the NFL Draft. Similarly, Sporting News is also on the clock with its annual seven-round mock draft. The stock of several players at positions across the board is still unknown — as well as what teams are thinking they'll do with each selection — but here's projecting whom every team can... SN's NFL DRAFT HQ: Live tracker | Pick-by-pick grades | Top 250 big board The Titans are getting more locked into taking their next franchise QB. Ward's arm, athleticism, and experience have appeal to help them move on from Will Levis.

The 2024-25 NFL season is nearing its end, and while two teams have their sights set on the Super Bowl, the remaining 30 teams have the 2025 NFL Draft to look forward to. With most of the draft order finalized at this point, now feels like as good of a time as any to set up a 7-round Mock Draft. For a more in-depth breakdown of each athlete, head to the PFN Top 100 Big Board for the 2025 NFL Draft. The draft order was based on the PFN Mock Draft Simulator. It would be tempting for the Titans to use the No. 1 pick on a quarterback, but after their president of football operations Chad Brinker mentioned they wouldn’t pass on a “generational talent,” that doesn’t particularly scream “quarterback” given the consensus opinion of this class.

Abdul Carter was always an explosive, competitive football player with elite physical attributes. When he switched to the edge full-time, he showcased the deep arsenal of pass-rushing moves to project as a superstar edge rusher in the NFL. One could make a strong argument he’s the best player in this year’s class — and playing a premier position should make him a serious No. 1 pick candidate. After I finish up “The Beast,” my attention shifts to a complete seven-round mock draft. It’s a time-exhaustive task, but I also see it as a helpful thought exercise to focus on team needs, draft trends and fits for all 32 organizations.

It became clear at the combine that Ward would be the No. 1 pick. The only question: Would the Titans trade out or stick and pick themselves? Over the last month, it’s become apparent that Tennessee plans to stay in the top spot and hand Ward the keys to its franchise.

The Browns are desperate to get the quarterback position right, although I don’t expect them to force the pick. With the best player in the draft still available, it makes sense that the choice here would be Hunter, who could provide a spark on offense (and defense). Thirty-two PFF analysts came together for a seven-round mock draft, picking for all 32 NFL teams. Mock trades are noted for applicable selections.

Here is our all-analyst seven-round 2025 NFL mock draft. Round 2 | Round 3 | Round 4Round 5 | Round 6 | Round 7 It's tough to win in the NFL without a good quarterback, and the Titans hope to right the ship by selecting Ward. The Miami (FL) product earned a 93.7 PFF passing grade on intermediate throws and a 95.0 PFF passing grade on deep shots in 2024. His 31 big-time throws ranked second among quarterbacks this past season. Landing spots and draft capital are two key factors in determining rookie values heading into your rookie drafts.

You've probably read a myriad of one-round mock drafts - anyone can do those. This year marks the 22nd NFL Draft I have scouted and covered. I've producing seven round mock drafts and rankings since 2004. While anyone can just sling out a new mock, I bring my top-five accuracy in Big Board projection (better than Mel Kiper, Daniel Jeremiah, and Lance Zierlein). I've even won the contest twice (only six people have ever been multi-year winners). If you want to know where players wiil go in the NFL Draft, cutting through the noise of the buzz, this is the place.

Every year, I do one 7-round mock draft. Projecting every single one of the 257 picks is arduous and often crazy, especially in a draft season where the gap between players available at 12 and 50 is no greater than the gap... This is what I think could happen when the draft kicks off on Thursday night in Green Bay, running through Mr. Irrelevant on Saturday evening. As longtime followers of my draft work know, beyond about the 50th pick, I'm much more interested in matching the player to the slot than the team listed to the player. This might result in some weirdness, like a team tripling up at one spot.

I'll gently remind folks that Hall of Famer Bill Polian once drafted three centers in the same draft while already having All-Pro Jeff Saturday on his Colts roster; anything can happen. Enjoy the draft weekend, the most wonderful time of the year for those of us here at Draft Wire! 1) Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami. While not technically official, Ward to the Titans has been the pick for several weeks now. 2) Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado. Everyone close to the Browns insists it's Hunter or Abdul Carter here, and the vast majority have been on Hunter for some time.

Who am I to argue? The Titans can thank the Jaguars for putting them in position to obtain a franchise quarterback now that they have a top-two selection. This assumes that they don’t sign Aaron Rodgers and look elsewhere for a signal-caller. Rodgers to Tennessee is a very real possibility, however, and this mock will obvioulsy be adjusted if that happens. I’ve switched this pick from Shedeur Sanders to Cam Ward for two reasons. First, Deion Sanders, who will have a say in where his son plays, may not want Shedeur in Tennessee because of how the organization handled Ran Carthon’s firing.

Deion was openly upset about this move. Second, there might be a trend for teams to find the next Jayden Daniels, and Ward resembles Daniels more than Sanders. Ward is a dual-threat quarterback who was very productive at Washington State and now Miami. *** OTHER 2025 NFL DRAFT POSSIBILITIES: *** 1. None – The only way Ward isn’t the pick is if he falls down the stairs or is abducted by aliens.
