The Final 7 Round Mock Draft Projections For The 2025 Nfl Draft
Every year, I do one 7-round mock draft. Projecting every single one of the 257 picks is arduous and often crazy, especially in a draft season where the gap between players available at 12 and 50 is no greater than the gap... This is what I think could happen when the draft kicks off on Thursday night in Green Bay, running through Mr. Irrelevant on Saturday evening. As longtime followers of my draft work know, beyond about the 50th pick, I'm much more interested in matching the player to the slot than the team listed to the player. This might result in some weirdness, like a team tripling up at one spot.
I'll gently remind folks that Hall of Famer Bill Polian once drafted three centers in the same draft while already having All-Pro Jeff Saturday on his Colts roster; anything can happen. Enjoy the draft weekend, the most wonderful time of the year for those of us here at Draft Wire! 1) Tennessee Titans: Cam Ward, QB, Miami. While not technically official, Ward to the Titans has been the pick for several weeks now. 2) Cleveland Browns: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado. Everyone close to the Browns insists it's Hunter or Abdul Carter here, and the vast majority have been on Hunter for some time.
Who am I to argue? From the No. 1 overall pick to Mr. Irrelevant, we’re predicting all 257 selections. It takes a special kind of degeneracy to do a seven round mock draft, but here we are. This is the final stretch to the 2025 NFL Draft and it’s time to celebrate everyone available — even a seventh round depth cornerback who will play a little special teams and be gone...
Just because this mock is BIG doesn’t mean it’s devoid of logic. We took a look at team needs, BPA value, and matched it with offensive and defensive philosophy to not just slot players in — but put them where they make sense. Also of note: There are no trades in this mock. We didn’t add them in to stop this getting too messy, but there obviously will be deals on draft night. There are a few obvious pivot points in the draft where deals are likely to be done. So, without further ado, here’s the full mock.

The Miami (FL) product earned a 93.7 PFF passing grade on intermediate throws and a 95.0 PFF passing grade on deep shots in 2024. His 31 big-time throws ranked second among quarterbacks this past season. 2025 NFL 7-Round Mock Draft: Every Pick, Every Team, Fully Predicted

It became clear at the combine that Ward would be the No. 1 pick. The only question: Would the Titans trade out or stick and pick themselves? Over the last month, it’s become apparent that Tennessee plans to stay in the top spot and hand Ward the keys to its franchise. The Browns are desperate to get the quarterback position right, although I don’t expect them to force the pick. With the best player in the draft still available, it makes sense that the choice here would be Hunter, who could provide a spark on offense (and defense).

HT: 6015 WT: 219 HAND: 848 ARM: 3048 40: 4.77 Analysis: The Titans, with the No. 1 pick, are in a prime position to address their quarterback need, as Will Levis hasn’t solidified himself as the long-term answer. Ward, ranked QB1 in our 2025 NFL Draft rankings, brings dynamic playmaking with his arm talent and mobility. His ability to extend plays and deliver accurate throws aligns with Tennessee’s need for a franchise QB to build around. The Titans’ are focused on resetting the roster, and Ward’s upside makes him a cornerstone for their rebuild. HT: 6003 WT: 188 HAND: 958 ARM: 3138 40: 4.47 Analysis: Cleveland’s defense needs a lockdown corner, and Hunter, the top-ranked player in your rankings, is a versatile superstar capable of transforming their secondary.
His elite ball skills and instincts make him a perfect fit to counter AFC North receivers. The Browns’ offensive struggles also make Hunter’s two-way potential intriguing, though his primary role will be at corner. Cleveland’s interests in this draft are high-upside players, and Hunter’s unique skill set addresses multiple needs. HT: 6014 WT: 212 HAND: 958 ARM: 3148 40: 4.78 Analysis: Sanders lands with the Giants, who desperately need a quarterback after Daniel Jones’ underwhelming tenure. Sanders’ poise, accuracy, and ability to handle pressure fit New York’s need for a composed leader. Sanders is a potential top-10 pick, with teams like the Giants eyeing him for his polish and NFL readiness.
This selection gives the Giants a franchise QB to build around in a tough NFC East. HT: 6057 WT: 319 HAND: 948 ARM: 3258 40: 4.98 Analysis: As specified, Campbell goes to the Patriots, addressing their critical need for a left tackle to protect their young quarterback, Drake Maye. Campbell, ranked as OT2, offers elite pass protection and run-blocking ability, providing stability to an offensive line that struggled in 2024. Insights suggest New England is focused on bolstering the trenches, and Campbell’s technical prowess and size make him a Day 1 starter to anchor the line. We are less than a month away from the 2025 NFL Draft, and the picture is becoming clearer. With free agency now in the rearview, we have a good idea of what teams still need to fill and where they might focus come draft weekend.
This class likely won’t yield dozens of All-Pro players, but the depth is fantastic, especially at key positions like EDGE, running back, tight end, and defensive tackle. There isn’t much separation between prospects like in years past, so NFL decision-makers must be creative in figuring out how to stack their boards to align with value and need properly. There is growing speculation across the league that a quarterback will be selected with the first overall pick in this year’s draft. There is still a chance the Tennessee Titans will move this pick to a team like the Giants, but I elected to do no trades for this mock draft exercise. The Titans need a franchise quarterback, and Cam Ward is this class’s best option. He is a playmaking passer with good instincts and creativity to create big plays out of nothing.
He would be a great addition to a Titans’ offense in dire need of excitement. The Cleveland Browns called Myles Garrett’s bluff and secured a long-term contract with their star pass rusher. This gives the Browns some flexibility with the No. 2 overall pick. While a quarterback may be tempting, pairing Garrett with Abdul Carter is too tempting to pass up.
