Building upon the School’s existing strengths, the hubs encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration that advances knowledge and translates it into practical community health improvements. This initiative highlights our School’s commitment to advancing public health through sustainable, interdisciplinary partnerships that generate meaningful academic and societal impact. The Healthy Aging Hub leverages Elderly Biobank (EB) which was built on the Elderly Health Service (EHS) Cohort, to advance interdisciplinary research on healthy aging.

It establishes collaborative platforms that bridge epidemiology, biostatistics, pharmacology and health economics to better understand chronic diseases. Through the valuable data resources, seminars and roundtable discussions, the hub empowers researchers and fosters networking and collaboration opportunities. By bridging research with real-world applications, it shares findings with the public and translates the findings into public health promotion initiatives that promote healthy aging and longevity.
