Our Too Early Titans 7 Round Nfl Mock Draft Building Around Cam Ward M
Let's help the Tennessee Titans get better. The 2025 NFL season has three games remaining before the playoffs begin, so the 2026 NFL Draft order is hardly set. The Titans (2-12) figure to be picking somewhere in the top five, and still have a punching shot at the No. 1 pick. But let's not get bogged down too deep into the details just yet. Instead of working through draft order scenarios and strength of schedule tiebreakers, let's familiarize ourselves with a couple of names who make sense as potential targets, examine positions where it'll make sense for the...
Here is a way-too-early swing at a seven-round mock draft for the Tennessee Titans, with the draft order set thorough Week 15. It's easy to do a disservice to Bain here. We can talk about how the best move is for the Titans to trade back and acquire more picks. We can talk about how Bain's shorter stature and shorter arms make him a tough sell as a top-five pick off the edge. We can talk about how measurements and testing are likely to push him down boards, and the Titans might be better served picking a tools-ier prospect like Ohio State's Arvell Reese. Let's instead say this: Squint while watching Bain's tape and it's easy to see a player not all that different from L.A.
Rams standout Jared Verse. He plays with power, but he can dip around tackles with speed and bend in an impressive way. He plays well against top competition and he way hyper productive throughout 2025. The Titans need a powerful, versatile, game-changing presence off the edge, and while Bain maybe doesn't have the A1 potential of recent top-five picks like Aidan Hutchinson or Will Anderson Jr., he's an automatic... It took a game-winning field goal as time expired but the Houston Texans handed the Tennessee Titans their fifth loss in a row in Week 11 action of the 2025 NFL regular season. Tennessee returned from the bye and played well, especially on defense. Houston managed just 75 yards on the ground all game as the Titans held strong in the trenches. As we enter the second half of the regular season, the Titans are looking forward to an offseason of change.
It's been months since coach Brian Callahan was fired and the franchise will be looking for his replacement. That'll be a compelling job, though, as 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward is an enticing talent to build around. The best way to build a contender around him is via the NFL draft. After Week 11's slate of games, the Titans are projected to have the No. 1 overall pick once again – one of their eight picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
What could they do with all of that draft capital? The 2026 NFL Draft class offers a lot of depth at multiple positions. Linebacker, interior offensive line and defensive line are all full of quality players. Teams can find rookie starters on Day 2 of the draft at those positions. The NFL world expects Miami’s Cam Ward to be the Titans’ pick at No. 1 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, barring a last-minute change of circumstances.
But what happens after that? Tennessee has one of the league’s most talent-deficient rosters, as evident by its 3-14 record last season. Outside of quarterback, the team also has glaring holes at wide receiver and edge rusher and needs depth at a slew of other positions on both sides of the ball. Here’s our seven-round mock draft for the Titans, including an early-round trade. First round, No. 1 overall: Cam Ward, QB, MiamiMeasurables: 6-foot-2, 219 pounds2024 stats (13 games): 67.2% completion rate for 4,313 yards and 39 TDs, 7 INTs
The Titans get their hopeful franchise quarterback in Ward, who set Miami single-season records in passing yards and touchdowns in his lone season with the Hurricanes. The former zero-star recruit can be a bit reckless at times, but he’s an instinctive passer and operates well in the pocket with his strength and elusiveness. Ward also has the rare ability to throw from various arm slots. The Tennessee Titans hold all the cards when it comes to the 2025 NFL Draft. With the first overall pick, they have the chance to stabilize the franchise by drafting their quarterback of the future. But, even beyond that selection, they have a great chance to remake the entire squad as a whole.
They might not catapult from the worst team in the league to a playoff contender, but they have an excellent chance of taking a mighty step forward. Here’s what the latest mock draft from PFSN believes they could do to make that a possibility. It’s the worst-kept secret in the 2025 NFL Draft: Cam Ward will, in all likelihood, go to the Tennessee Titans. Brian Callahan needs a quarterback he can call his own, and Ward has the elite creation capacity, arm elasticity, ball handling, and gunslinger predisposition to light up the league in Callahan’s offense. Luther Burden III may end up sliding a bit because of his uncertain projection, but he’s an incredible RAC weapon with the catch-point skills to capitalize on Ward’s tight-window opportunities. A brand-new Tennessee Titans seven-round 2025 NFL mock draft
The 2025 NFL Draft is approximately two weeks away! The Tennessee Titans are expected to select Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall selection. That plan became even more evident after the team canceled its scheduled private workout with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders. General manager Mike Borgonzi will then shift attention to filling holes at wide receiver and EDGE. With the 2025 NFL Draft looming, we’ve completed another fresh predictive seven-round mock.
Ward will immediately add a playmaking element to the Titans’ offense that was sorely lacking last season. His ability to be an off-script magician should add a layer of excitement to Brian Callahan’s offense. Ward has seriously impressed the Titans throughout the pre-draft process. James Pearce Jr. has character concerns, which could see him slide out of the first round. Would the Titans roll the dice on his elite pass-rushing potential at No.
35? Pearce Jr. played college football locally for the Tennessee Volunteers, adding another layer of intrigue here. Alternatively, the Titans could look to trade down five-10 spots to recoup the third-round pick they currently lack. One of the most quarterback-needy teams in the NFL right now is the Tennessee Titans. Head coach Brian Callahan weathered the storm last season in his first year in charge but we think it's safe to assume he's not going to be content to trot out Will Levis again...
The Titans didn't address the position in free agency so we turn our attention to the 2025 NFL draft. We took this into consideration when we updated our Titans seven-round mock draft after the first wave of free agency. We aren't a huge fan of Ward going No. 1 overall but unless the Titans get a mint for the pick, we expect them to stay put and roll the dice on Ward. With a new quarterback, he needs weapons and Loveland is an elite weapon in the passing game thanks to his size and high football IQ. Highly competitive man cornerback with elite length and solid athleticism.
With the NFL Draft less than a month away, mock draft season is in full swing. As the Titans’ draft strategy at first overall begins to materialize, I figured it was time to try my hand at predicting their other seven picks. This mock draft won’t include any trades, due to NFL draft day trades being wildly unpredictable. With the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Titans get their franchise quarterback in Cam Ward. After a disastrous 2024 season behind Will Levis, Tennessee gives the keys to the newest first overall pick. Ward has an enticing blend of arm talent, timing/anticipation, touch and out-of-structure playmaking ability.
While some draw similarities between Ward’s decision making issues to those of Will Levis, the difference comes in Ward’s mental ability. Ward has consistently shown the ability to process both pre and post-snap, and consistently progress to the backside of passing concepts. His live arm in addition to his anticipatory throwing also allows him to fit the ball into any window. While the accuracy can be concerning at times, Ward has a clear path to being a franchise cornerstone in Tennessee’s rebuild. While James Pearce slipping to the top of the second round may come as a shock to some, his fall continues to look more and more likely. Similarly to Missouri receiver Luther Burden, Pearce is another first-round talent who seems to be falling due to supposed character concerns.
