nfl mock draft chatgpt predicts all 32 first round picks in 2025

Mock drafts can be like steak. Many people love consuming them, but each one is made a little differently. And just as some people like their steaks with A1 sauce, others like to see what happens when AI completes a mock draft. USA TODAY Sports consulted OpenAI's AI chatbot, ChatGPT, for its take on a first-round mock draft ahead of the 2025 NFL draft. Artificial intelligence made its selection for each pick and added some of its own justifications for them as well. Though each pick was one that ChatGPT eventually landed on, a human writer made sure that each selection was a (relatively) realistic pick for each of the 32 teams.

Here's how the first round of the 2025 NFL draft could go, according to ChatGPT: Last Updated: April 24, 2025 11:11 AM EDT • 7 minute read X Social Google News Link The NFL draft gets underway tonight at 8 p.m. ET (NFL Network, ESPN, ABC) from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, and despite the unpredictability of the event, our 2025 NFL Draft AI predictions and mock draft provide insights into how it could all... Using a combination of the NFL draft odds, team needs, top draft analysts' big boards, and the potential for trades, we asked ChatGPT to project every first-round pick while identifying the best odds to... Here is our complete AI mock draft for tonight's first round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Watch the coverage from Lambeau Field in Green Bay beginning at 8 p.m. ET on NFL Network, ESPN, and ABC. The obvious favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, the AI prediction didn't stray from consensus by electing to have the Titans select Miami QB Cam Ward. Ward is viewed as the only clear first-round quarterback this year and fills a massive need for Tennessee and head coach Brian Callahan under center. Technically, rookie Tyler Shough is the Saints' starter for the rest of the season.

When New Orleans goes on the clock in the 2026 NFL Draft, Shough will almost certainly become the latest high-round pick whose team uses an even higher-round pick 12 months later in the hopes... The Panthers did it in 2011 when they took Cam Newton No. 1 overall, and the Cardinals did it eight years later when they selected Kyler Murray with the top pick. And as we sit here, nine weeks into the 2026 season, the Saints are staring that first-overall selection in the face. There will no doubt be discussions in the building about trading down and what such a draft haul might do to reset this roster, but if the organization feels that Fernando Mendoza or Ty... Former Titans GM Ran Carthon and I talked about this last week on "With the First Pick," our NFL Draft podcast:

In my Mock Draft 2.0, I have just three QBs going in the first round -- and one via trade; after trading down from No. 2 to No. 5 last April, the Browns move up from No. 6 to No. 2 in this excerise for a quarterback. And much like the conversation surrounding Shough, it's fair to assume that neither Dylan Gabriel or Shedeur Sanders (or any other QB currently on Cleveland's roster) will be penciled in as the 2026 starter...

Artificial intelligence is the latest modern technological craze in 2025. But how well can it predict something like the results of the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft? USA TODAY Sports tested the mettle of four different AI chatbots – Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI, Grok and ChatGPT – by tasking each with making a mock draft prediction for Round 1 of this... Human writers were on hand for each chatbot's attempt to ensure that each pick was a plausible one – attempts to select a non-draft eligible player or a player drafted in previous years were... Each pick also featured some justification from the AI, and our writers picked apart the chatbots' analysis in each story. Here's how the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft could go, according to four of the most popular AI programs in 2025:

Artificial Intelligence" mock draft in USA TODAY – and perhaps world – history. My opponent this year, Microsoft Copilot, put together a valiant effort. As the selections roll in Thursday night from Green Bay, Wisconsin during the first round, I’ll vigorously be comparing the results in hopes of emerging victorious. For the purposes of this exercise, my colleague Jacob Camenker supplied the AI bot with parameters and provided his explanation-slash-translation of the picks. I offered a "modified" first-round mock that, to be honest, feels anything but "expert." I also commented on Copilot’s selection. To keep things simple, trades were not permitted.

Thus, I had just one quarterback going in the first round. My apologies to Shedeur Sanders, who will almost certainly hear his name called Thursday but won’t appear below. So far, so good for Copilot, as Ward is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick. The chatbot highlighted his "arm talent and mobility" as reasons the Titans would be interested in making him their "quarterback of the future." – Jacob Camenker April 21, 2025, 10:52am EST 108 • By Alex Hoegler

With the 2025 NFL Draft inching closer and closer, it’s time to look into the crystal ball and predict how the first round shakes out. Not only are we predicting some trades involving swapping of first-round picks, but we have a couple of blockbuster deals involving big-name players. So let’s dive right into it! If the Titans didn’t want Ward, we feel like they would have either traded the pick or added another veteran QB by now. Neither has happened, so welcome to the Titans, Mr. Ward.

With first-round picks Peter Skoronski and JC Latham on the o-line, and with Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard leading the way on offense, there’s a solid core in place for Ward to produce right... Happy Draft Day, everybody. This is my first and only mock for this cycle, and it's coming just hours before the Titans are officially on the clock. Hey, better late than never. Mocks this time of year are tricky because while it's true that we're as close to a consensus on the first rounders as we're going to get, keeping up with the rumor mill this... And much of what's being peddled out there is a smoke screen anyway.

If you're looking for more draft content, make sure you check out Mario Puig's three-round mock and Joe Bartel's mock draft and NFL draft props. Same deal. This feels like a lock, even if the idea of an Abdul Carter-Myles Garrett tandem is fun to dream on. The Giants might want to move back, but with no quarterbacks worth taking at 3, it's hard to envision them finding a dance partner willing to pay full freight. They'll just have to settle for the best EDGE in the class and the best player available. Ho hum.
