Happy Draft Day, everybody. This is my first and only mock for this cycle, and it's coming just hours before the Titans are officially on the clock. Hey, better late than never. Mocks this time of year are tricky because while it's true that we're as close to a consensus on the first rounders as we're going to get, keeping up with the rumor mill this... And much of what's being peddled out there is a smoke screen anyway. If you're looking for more draft content, make sure you check out Mario Puig's three-round mock and Joe Bartel's mock draft and NFL draft props.

Same deal. This feels like a lock, even if the idea of an Abdul Carter-Myles Garrett tandem is fun to dream on. The Giants might want to move back, but with no quarterbacks worth taking at 3, it's hard to envision them finding a dance partner willing to pay full freight. They'll just have to settle for the best EDGE in the class and the best player available. Ho hum. Daniel Flick’s predictions: Mock draft 1.0 | Mock draft 2.0 | Mock draft 3.0 | Mock draft 4.0 | Mock draft 5.0 | Mock draft 6.0 | On SI Mock draft 1.0

We’re through the NFL scouting combine, and free agency isn’t over yet, save for a few big-name quarterbacks and older receivers. Pro days are also taking place, so it’s a good time to revisit the mock draft board and see where things stand regarding team needs. This is how our network of On SI publishers and reporters see the first round playing out. Unlike last year, when we had a run on quarterbacks in the top half of the draft, this year will be heavy on the offensive and defensive lines, running backs and tight ends. Still, there are a few quarterbacks sprinkled in throughout the first round, so let’s dive in. The Titans have indicated that they’re going after a quarterback in the NFL draft.

And as time moves on, Ward is separating himself from the pack. The Titans finally get their franchise signal-caller. —Noah Strackbein, Titans On SI The pick: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado The 2024 NFL season is drawing to a close with the football world now turning its attention toward the 2025 NFL Draft. This year’s class is particularly intriguing because it lacks depth and premier talent at positions like wide receiver and cornerback, but the pre-draft process will create plenty of risers and fallers.

Our latest 2025 NFL mock draft takes you through our latest Round 1 projections for all 32 teams. With the offseason underway, we’ve also included a few trades in our 2025 NFL Draft mock so let’s dive in. By keeping general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll, the New York Giants put themselves in a position where they must take a quarterback. A GM with his job at stake will be more aggressive, even if it means sacrificing future draft assets. So, New York gets aggressive here. Cam Ward offers superior physical tools compared to Shedeur Sanders and he seems to be the preferred QB for Tyrone Tracy Jr.

and Malik Nabers. Ward’s athleticism and arm strength make him an exciting fit in Daboll’s offense and New York has enough of a supporting cast in place to make life easier for the rookie quarterback. Related: Best landing spots for top NFL free agent QBs 2025 The Cleveland Browns need a new face of the franchise with Deshaun Watson almost guaranteed to never play another snap for this team. Signing a veteran QB on the cheap (Kirk Cousins) is a viable possibility, but at this point, other teams can offer a better supporting cast. So, Cleveland rolls the dice on a rookie.

Shedeur Sanders is experienced, poised, makes good decisions with the football and is accurate. Kevin Stefanski’s system needs a polished passer on a rookie-scale contract who can execute the play designs while adding a little creativity when needed. Plus, there won’t be a ton of pressure on Sanders to perform well immediately. Many picks have been changed and different scenarios have been explored.

I had Travis Hunter here in my first mock draft, but that was based on the idea Hunter could play wide receiver for Tennessee. At the combine, Brian Callahan seemed to lean toward Hunter being a cornerback first, which is less of a need for the Titans. In that case, maybe new general manager Mike Borgonzi would try to find Callahan a quarterback of the future. The team doesn’t seem so active in the quarterback market so far.

With Myles Garrett having requested a trade, I’m sticking with Abdul Carter as the No. 2 overall pick. This seems like a perfect blend of need and value, especially with Cam Ward already off the board. Daniel Flick’s predictions: Mock draft 1.0 | Mock draft 2.0 | Mock draft 3.0 | Mock draft 4.0 | Mock draft 5.0 | Mock draft 6.0 | On SI Mock draft 1.0 | On... NFL free agency isn’t over yet. But most of the headliners, save for a few big-name quarterbacks and older receivers, are off the market.

Pro days are underway and teams are hosting prospects for visits—in other words, the 2025 NFL draft is well within reach. Before the draft begins April 24 in Green Bay, Wis., teams will spend the next month rounding out their scouting reports on players and finalizing their big board. With the early waves of free agency in the rearview mirror, team needs are clearer, as are potential targets. The Tennessee Titans continue inching closer to being on the clock—but as they work toward finalizing their decision at No. 1, here’s Sports Illustrated’s latest predictions at how the opening round unfolds. Tennessee’s quarterback depth chart consists of Will Levis and Brandon Allen.

The Titans need an answer under center, and Ward is their best bet in this draft class. He’s strong-armed, creative, athletic and accurate—a strong foundation for a prospective franchise signal-caller. Trade or no trade, Ward is the favorite to go No. 1.
