Editor's note: Follow 2025 NFL Draft live updates, grades and analysis. The 2025 NFL Draft is here, meaning that all of the prognosticating is about to give way to actual picks. Months of analysis and forecasting have helped shape a fairly strong consensus on a few fronts, with many gravitating to the same prospects for several of the earliest selections. But surprises are inevitable, and it only takes one unexpected move to send a ripple effect throughout the rest of the first round. Though it's difficult to guess what that inflection point might be, one last shot at predicting the first 32 picks was necessary before the things start Thursday night in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Here's USA TODAY Sports' final 2025 NFL mock draft:

Any remote chance for entropy at the top of the draft was eradicated Tuesday, when Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi confirmed that the team would not be dealing the No. 1 pick. That all but cements Ward as the selection. Tennessee will no doubt be pressed on president of football operations Chad Brinker's remark that the team would not pass on a "generational talent," which led many to believe that Travis Hunter or Abdul... But getting a fresh start and a real investment behind center was a necessity for Year 2 of Brian Callahan's run, and Ward offers the dynamic playmaking ability and pocket poise to give the... The staff at Last Word on Pro Football put together a first-round mock draft for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Beat writers have a good pulse on team needs, scheme fits, and who teams could target. Here are all the projected picks from the first round. “Tennessee desperately needs a quarterback since Will Levis isn’t the answer. Ward is the top quarterback in the class and a good fit for Brian Callahan’s offense.” – Joseph Yun “The Browns need to find a way to win in a unique way. There is no more unique player than Travis Hunter in the 2025 NFL Draft and maybe in any draft of the past 50 years.” – Mike Kashuba, Managing Editor

“The Giants have a desperate need for a quarterback. With Cam Ward gone, Shedeur Sanders is the easy pick at #3 and allows Brian Daboll the ability to have his guy under center for the first time in his career.” – Tony Salamah “The Patriots need help at just about every position, so they take the best player left on the board. Abdul Carter has elite potential and could create a strong pass rusher with free agent signee Milton Williams.” – David Latham, Managing Editor A Mock Draft with a twist; 32 of them to be clear. The sports bettors’ NFL Mock Draft returns in 2025 with 32 betting picks to enjoy over the course of a long first round.

Why not watch on Thursday and have money riding on literally every pick? In the sports bettor’s mock draft, we’re not giving analysis or projections. I am not a talent evaluator. Sure, there could be some spots where I believe in a player more than others, but that doesn’t mean we’re going by gut feel. With the 2025 NFL Draft starting on Thursday night, it’s time to produce the final 2025 Pickswise NFL mock draft. As usual, there is a ton of intrigue at the top of the board.

We are all but certain of the direction in which Tennessee is taking with the #1 overall pick, but things could get interesting immediately thereafter. The big question, of course, is: when and where will Shedeur Sanders go? That will pretty much shape the entire first round. Trades are expected to be fast and furious, too, so fasten your seatbelts for what could be a wild ride on Thursday in Green Bay. Let’s try to make sense of the potential madness by projecting picks 1 through 32 of the 2025 NFL Draft. The Titans are perennially bad and once again need a complete reset following the disaster that was the Will Levis experiment.

Ward may not be the best overall prospect in this class, but he obviously plays the most important position. Tennessee needs a new face of the franchise. Hunter is probably the best and certainly the most dynamic player on this 2025 draft. He can play both ways at wide receiver and cornerback, which is what he has every intention of doing at the next level. Abdul Carter is a possibility, but the Browns simply can’t pass up Hunter’s immense potential. Most experts expect the Giants to go with whoever the Browns don’t take between Hunter and Carter.

Both of those guys would be good picks, but the bottom line is that they don’t play quarterback. Like Tennessee, New York also requires a total overhaul following its own QB doldrums (ahem, Daniel Jones). Find out our expert’s NFL Draft order predictions for the first 3 picks! My 2025 NFL mock draft 4.0 is officially here. The NFL Draft is Thursday night, and the frenzy of 2025 mock drafts has reached peak heights. Football analysts and draftniks across the board are attempting to piece together plausible and convincing real-life draft selections for all 32 teams.

The primary rationale behind these choices usually comes down to “team needs” or “best player available,” but there’s a third factor that isn’t considered enough: The historical track records of general managers and other... I usually write an article every year titled “Historical NFL Draft Picks of All 32 NFL Teams” but this year I am combining it within the context of a first-round mock draft. The same great analysis, but with maximum SEO juice. Happy Draft Day, everybody. This is my first and only mock for this cycle, and it's coming just hours before the Titans are officially on the clock. Hey, better late than never.

Mocks this time of year are tricky because while it's true that we're as close to a consensus on the first rounders as we're going to get, keeping up with the rumor mill this... And much of what's being peddled out there is a smoke screen anyway. If you're looking for more draft content, make sure you check out Mario Puig's three-round mock and Joe Bartel's mock draft and NFL draft props. Same deal. This feels like a lock, even if the idea of an Abdul Carter-Myles Garrett tandem is fun to dream on. The Giants might want to move back, but with no quarterbacks worth taking at 3, it's hard to envision them finding a dance partner willing to pay full freight.

They'll just have to settle for the best EDGE in the class and the best player available. Ho hum. The 2025 NFL draft, which has been built up by many as the most unpredictable selection process in recent memory, is now upon us. But let's try to make this thing a little more predictable, shall we? With just a few hours remaining until the clock officially starts ticking, we give you our final first-round mock draft of the year . .

. They may not be taking the "generational talent" first-year general manager Mike Borgonzi alluded to earlier this offseason, but the Titans do get their quarterback. And that, above all, is ultimately the most important piece you can find. The "generational talent," instead, goes to Cleveland. Hunter can help elevate the Browns' woeful offense right off the rip, no matter who's primed to line up under center. General manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll may have the two hottest seats in the NFL, so they better start winning now.

Instead of reaching on a rookie quarterback, the Giants can secure the best player at the second-most important position in football. (And hopefully for them, they can keep this Penn State product from eventually leaving town.) April 23, 2025, 8:26am EST 115 • By Alex Hoegler With 2025 NFL Draft week upon us, it was time to hammer out one LAST mock draft before the real thing begins. No more time to be wasted. Let’s dive right into it.

No guarantee that the Titans will be in the position to grab a potential franchise-changing QB next year. So it only makes sense to roll the dice on Ward and see what the dazzling dual-threat QB can do. With Calvin Ridley and Tony Pollard already in the fold, Ward has the pieces in place to produce early and often in Music City.
