Hunter is the top prospect of the class. He’s the best player at two positions, one of the best athletes, and is obsessed with football. Hunter is the best non-quarterback prospect since Myles Garrett. Despite some recent success, the Cleveland Browns find themselves on the verge of yet another rebuild.

Unfortunately, the offseason hasn’t introduced many notable additions to Cleveland. They’ve signed some offensive line and front-seven depth, but the transaction that made the most headlines was the team’s trade for backup quarterback Kenny Pickett. That’s not ideal for a franchise in desperate need of a facelift. Luckily, the Browns have the No. 2 overall pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. If this roster is ever going to get an infusion of big-time talent, now is the time, and PFSN’s latest seven-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from Brentley Weissman gives the Browns a new look.

Most fans would probably suggest that the Browns’ biggest need is at quarterback, though the latest PFSN mock draft doesn’t peg them an improvement at the position. With Cam Ward off the board after the No. 1 overall pick, Cleveland is instead expected to take the best defender in the class. “The Cleveland Browns called Myles Garrett’s bluff and secured a long-term contract with their star pass rusher. Round 3, Pick 67: Dylan Sampson | RB | Tennessee — An explosive, slashing runner with quick feet and big-play ability, Sampson offers lightning-in-a-bottle potential out of the backfield. He’s a dangerous weapon in space and adds value as a receiver, bringing modern versatility to the Browns’ offensive backfield. Round 3, Pick 94: Kyle Williams | WR | Washington State — Williams is a smooth operator in the slot with excellent route-running and hands.

He projects as a high-floor, chain-moving target who fits perfectly in the short-to-intermediate game. His polish and reliability make him a strong complement to the speed and size elsewhere on the roster. The Cleveland Browns have a golden opportunity to transform their franchise in this year's NFL Draft, even if the organization may pass on selecting a franchise quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick. Cam Ward is projected to go No. 1 to the Tennessee Titans, leaving the Browns with the decision to select their next franchise quarterback (presumably Shedeur Sanders) at No.

2 overall -- or go with the best available player on the board. Cleveland struck out with the Deshaun Watson experiment, a move that damaged the franchise's reputation and hindered the Browns from actually contending in the AFC. The Browns were actually better without Watson than with him, making the playoffs two years ago with Joe Flacco in his late 30s. His ball production was elite in 2024, as he tallied three interceptions and an impressive 15 forced incompletions for Ole Miss. Neal is a versatile back who excels as both a runner and receiver. Over the past two seasons at Kansas, he forced a combined 127 missed tackles on runs and receptions.
