It's hard to imagine him in another uniform, but Brady will join the likes of his hero Joe Montana by finishing his career for a different team. For the Patriots, it will be a seismic shift and in the coming days their plans for rebuilding the offense post-Brady will continue to take shape.
Second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham figures to be part of it, and with Joe Thuney back in the fold, the team will have a very solid offensive line in place for the next signal caller. "Relationships are imperfect, but I'm very proud of our journey," Brady says in a new episode of Apple TV+ docuseries chronicling his time in New England Tom Brady couldn't help but break down as he recalled making the emotional decision to leave the New England Patriots after 20 seasons. In a clip from Friday's upcoming finale episode of the 10-part Apple TV+ series, The Dynasty: New England Patriots, Brady, 46, is joined by Patriots owner Robert Kraft and former head coach Bill Belichick... Kraft, 82, recalls the moment when Brady "walked into the room" and said, "I've decided to move on," in the clip. "And as soon as he said it, he started crying," says Kraft, adding, "And his crying told me everything I needed to know."
In his confessional, Brady shares his version of the conversation, recalling Kraft telling him, "'I think we should call Bill [Belichick],' and when Bill answered, it was emotional." Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports Tom Brady sent shockwaves on the internet last week after he announced retirement for the second time in his career. Initially, fans were reluctant to accept the reality and claimed that the veteran would return after a few days. However, it seems Brady was being real this time, and his decision was absolute. His recent comments, while speaking with the NFL analyst Colin Cowherd, have sparked a new debate on social media. The seven-time Super Bowl champion left an emotional retirement note sharing a snippet on social media.
He talked about his journey and learnings and credited everyone who supported him during this journey. Well, it looked exactly similar to how the quarterback mentioned last year, but the veteran claims that he meant each and every word this time. The former Patriots quarterback appeared on Colin Cowherd’s podcast and spoke about various issues surrounding the world of football. Not to mention, his retirement remained a hot topic of discussion. He asked Brady for the one last time whether the cynicism on the internet regarding his comeback will ever become a reality. Without falling much into the details, Brady gave a smart response.
