WASHINGTON (SBG) - New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, announced via Twitter that he is departing the team. In a two-part message, Brady states that "my football journey will take place elsewhere." However, he did not say what team he may be heading to next. He thanks Patriots fans for their support during the last 20 years he played for the team. Brady added that " Pats Nation will always be a part of me." The New England Patriots selected Brady, a University of Michigan quarterback, with the 199th overall pick in the sixth round of 2000 NFL Draft.
