FBI Director Kash Patel and Utah Gov. Spencer Cox held a news conference late Thursday in Utah relating to the investigation into the shooting of conservative commentator, Charlie Kirk. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox showed the public video of the person of interest in a black long-sleeve T-shirt featuring an American flag, an eagle and the words "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave." Law enforcement shared new video showing the alleged gunman fleeing from the scene after Charlie Kirk was shot during an event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.

Authorities are set to address the media with updates in connection with the slaying of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot during a student-sponsored event in Orem, Utah on Wednesday, Sept.
10. Kirk, 31, was shot in the neck while hosting the first "Prove Me Wrong" table, a series of live debates held at schools and universities across the country, at Utah Valley University. Kirk's series of national campus tours, where members of the audience got the chance to debate Kirk and his team in a public setting, were dubbed "The American Comeback Tour." Authorities are still searching for the shooter but have recovered a " high-powered rifle" believed to have been used to fire the single fatal shot. Photos of a new person of interest were also released by the FBI on Thursday, Sept. 11.
"The shooting is believed to be a targeted attack. The shooter is believed to have fired from the roof of a building down to the location of the public event in the student courtyard," the Utah Department of Public Safety said in a... "Any additional clarifications cannot be provided to protect the integrity of our investigation." Authorities publicly released new surveillance camera footage of the suspect.
