In the video, a person can be seen running across the roof of a building before jumping to the ground and escaping on foot. Kirk, 31, was the founder of the right-leaning youth organization Turning Point USA and a longtime ally of President Donald Trump. The commentator's shock killing has rocked the nation, sparking both widespread condemnation from across the political spectrum, and also partisan tensions. In a press conference on Thursday evening, the FBI shared the surveillance footage of the suspect fleeing the scene and moving into a wooded area. The FBI and Utah officials have released new footage of the person of interest involved in the Charlie Kirk fatal shooting, which shows the suspect fleeing from the scene.

The video was played at a press conference held by officials on Thursday, September 11, as the manhunt for Kirk’s killer continues. In the footage, which has been shared by multiple media outlets, the suspect can be seen running across the roof of a building from where the fatal shot that struck Kirk at Utah Valley...
