In today’s Society, a District’s primary purpose is to serve as the Voice of the Member, informing and influencing decision making at the National level to better serve the needs of public relations professionals... We nurture the programs and services offered by the 13 Chapters in our District. From promoting events to galvanizing resources for wider-scale initiatives, we serve as connective tissue among our Chapters and the Chapters throughout the country. We develop a diverse group of member-leaders, preparing them for and recruiting them into national service. One of the ways we do this is by removing barriers to Accreditation across our District — the first in a series of steps to be qualified for national board service within our Society. In this, we are a national leader.
