The Central California Chapter of PRSA serves public relations professionals in Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, and Tulare counties, as well as practitioners in the North Valley and Central Coast. In today’s Society, a District’s primary purpose is to serve as the Voice of the Member, informing and influencing decision making at the National level to better serve the needs of public relations professionals... We nurture the programs and services offered by the 13 Chapters in our District. From promoting events to galvanizing resources for wider-scale initiatives, we serve as connective tissue among our Chapters and the Chapters throughout the country.
We develop a diverse group of member-leaders, preparing them for and recruiting them into national service. One of the ways we do this is by removing barriers to Accreditation across our District — the first in a series of steps to be qualified for national board service within our Society. In this, we are a national leader. The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) North Pacific District is proud to unveil its new board of directors, ushering in a dynamic era of leadership poised to advance the field of public relations... The incoming board, which boasts a diverse blend of seasoned and emerging industry professionals, is committed to fostering growth, innovation, and the continued professional development of its members. The new board lineup will be led by Co-Chairs Elizabeth Rue from Alaska and Angela Dwyer, APR from Salt Lake.
They will be joined by Co-Chair-Elects Hanna Goss from Mid-Columbia and Devin Knighton , Ph.D., APR from Salt Lake, and other key professionals who will fill roles pivotal to the organization’s operations and outreach. Taraneh Fultz, APR , the Immediate Past Chair, expressed her confidence in the new board, stating, “As I transition into the role of Immediate Past Chair, I am filled with immense pride and anticipation. This exemplary group of leaders brings professional acumen and a shared vision of empowerment, inclusivity, and ethics that PRSA stands for.
