nfl fantasy 2025 start em sit em running backs for week 11

You have lineup questions, we have lineup answers -- at least we hope so. Start 'Em, Sit 'Em is here to help fantasy managers make difficult roster decisions. And you know what is a good move? Starting Christian McCaffrey. But that's too obvious, so you won't see such simple analysis here. Instead, we're exploring more debatable situations.

And if you can't find a player you are looking for, please check out the latest NFL Fantasy lineup rankings. NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, all stats come from NFL Pro, Next Gen Stats or NFL Research. Joe Flacco has brought Brown and the Bengals receivers back to fantasy relevancy. Brown has averaged 16.4 fantasy PPG with Flacco as the starter, compared to fewer than 10 per game without him. Brown has been the fantasy RB8 since Week 7, when he recorded a season-high 108 rushing yards and was targeted 14 times by Flacco against the Steelers. In fact, he has averaged 15.5 fantasy PPG in his last two games against the division rival.

Brown is in play with Flacco at the helm. Warren is a safe RB2 most weeks. He gets the best matchup a running back could ask for this week. Against the Bengals in Week 7, Warren ran for 127 yards and had 19.8 fantasy points (both season-highs). Warren has received 77 percent of the Steelers' carries over the last four weeks, and the Bengals D has allowed the most fantasy points to RBs. Warren is a strong start.

It's been frustrating to watch Marks have success then see the carrot get pulled away from him the following week. He had a great outing last week, playing 78 percent of the snaps and handling 17 touches. Marks has averaged 13.5 touches per game in the last four contests and has posted at least 12 in four of his last six. The Titans have surrendered the most rushing TDs and fifth-most fantasy PPG to RBs this season. Marks had 119 yards, a pair of TDs and a season-high 27.9 fantasy points against Tennessee in Week 4. Week 11 of the NFL and Fantasy Football season is already here as managers are set for another wild week of action across the gridiron.

The running back position has been constantly changing throughout this season and has been one of the most volatile we've seen in recent years. With the fantasy playoffs just around the corner, rosters will have to be finalized as managers pin their workhorse running running backs for the rest of the season. Week 10 saw a number of developments, including Colts' Jonathan Taylor with another three-touchdown performance as he continues to make a case for the NFL's MVP. Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs also had a monster fantasy week with 42.2 (PPR) points on three touchdowns and 142 rushing yards. Dolphins' De'Von Achane posted a whopping 174 rushing yards with 2 touchdowns, while Rams' Kyren Williams added two touchdowns in his win as well. Aside from top options like San Francisco 49ers' Christian McCaffrey and Atlanta Falcons' Bijan Robinson, we'll be taking a look at some of the solid start options for running back in Week 11 and...

New England Patriots' RB TreVeyon Henderson Rookie back TreVeyon Henderson broke out in a massive way in Week 10 with 14 carries for 147 yards and two touchdowns, resulting in 32.0 (PPR) fantasy points in the biggest game of his... Throughout most of the season, Henderson has been seen as a fringe start with lead running back Rhamondre Stevenson in the mix. However, with Stevenson battling an injury, Henderson has clearly proven he's capable of handling lead back duties for this offense. The next four weeks are critical for making the right lineup choices. Just two teams are on bye in Week 11: the Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints. The former has the best running back in fantasy football this season in Jonathan Taylor so managers may be faced with a tough lineup choice this week. That's where we can help. Making the right call at the margins of your lineup can make the difference between a loss and a close win that brings you one step closer to the postseason. Here are four start recommendations -and (technically five) sit recommendations - for Week 11 fantasy football:

Warren and the Steelers' offense struggled on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 10, unable to get the running game going against the Los Angeles Chargers' front. Warren managed 91 total yards on 16 touches and failed to find the end zone after a two-score effort in Week 9. Start em or sit em? Fantasy football start or sit decisions can be excruciating. While it feels great to make the right call and cruise to fantasy glory, it hurts just as much when you have someone erupt while on your bench. You can use our Who Should I Start?

Let’s take a look at a few polarizing players and what fantasy football expert Derek Brown advises. And you can find all of DBro’s fantasy football outlook in this week’s fantasy football primer. TreVeyon Henderson gashed the Bucs last week with explosives. Over the last two games, he has been the RB15 and RB4 in weekly scoring, averaging 16.5 touches and 118.5 total yards.

Since Week 9, he has ripped some long runs, ranking sixth in explosive run rate, but he needs to give a hat tip to his offensive line. In that span, he has the highest yards before contact per attempt with an insane 5.61 yards before contact per attempt. In the same sample, he ranks 29th in success rate (50%), 24th in stuff rate (46.4%), 33rd in missed tackle rate (11%), and 41st in yards after contact per attempt (1.61). Henderson has had some massive running lanes and taken advantage with his back-breaking speed. He’s primed to do it again this week. Since Week 6, the Jets have allowed the sixth-most rushing yards per game, the ninth-highest explosive run rate, and the fifth-highest missed tackle rate.

Travis Etienne is set to eat this week. He’s the RB17 in fantasy points per game, averaging 17.3 touches and 87.3 total yards. Etienne ranks 12th in snap share, 14th in weighted opportunities, and eighth in red zone touches. Among 64 qualifying backs, Etienne ranks 31st in missed tackle rate and 23rd in yards after contact per attempt. He should pad those tackle breaking stats this week. The Bolts run defense has quietly been one of the worst in the league all season.

Since Week 6, they have allowed the fourth-highest explosive run rate, the sixth-highest missed tackle rate, the second-highest yards before contact per attempt, and have the ninth-lowest stuff rate. Since Week 6, Vidal has been the RB16 in fantasy points per game, averaging 19.2 touches and 87.6 total yards. Among 64 qualifying backs, he ranks 20th in explosive run rate and 34th in yards after contact per attempt. I don’t expect another massive game from Vidal this week, though. The Jags’ run defense has been nasty. Since Week 6, they have allowed the fifth-lowest explosive run rate, the third-fewest rushing yards per game, the tenth-lowest yards per carry to zone runs (Vidal 60.4% zone), and the fourth-lowest yards before contact...

Start ‘Em, Sit 'Em is the ultimate look at the best and worst matchups based on a PPR scoring system in fantasy football. This column will not cover the elite players in the NFL like Josh Allen, Bijan Robinson or Ja’Marr Chase. Instead, I'll look at the players who could exceed or fail to meet expectations at each position. For all of your final fantasy lineup decisions, be sure to check out my weekly player rankings, which will be updated daily throughout the 2025 NFL season. 1. Christian McCaffrey at Cardinals 2.

Bijan Robinson vs. Panthers3. Jahmyr Gibbs at Eagles4. De’Von Achane vs. Commanders (Madrid)5. Josh Jacobs at Giants 6.

James Cook vs. Buccaneers7. Ashton Jeanty vs. Cowboys (Mon.)8. Rico Dowdle at Falcons9. Javonte Williams at Raiders (Mon.)10.

Saquon Barkley vs. Lions Rico Dowdle at Falcons (1 p.m. ET, Fox): Dowdle wasn’t great last week, but he still put up 15.3 fantasy points in a bad loss to the Saints. He’s in a smash spot this week though, as the veteran faces a Falcons defense that has allowed a league-high eight touchdowns and the most points per game to running backs since Week 7. In that time, two runners have beaten their defense for more than 39 points.
