Thankfully, draft coverage is practically its own industry. The NFL reigns supreme in American sports, and that means there’s no shortage of expert analysis, tools, and resources widely available online. We’ve rounded up a few to help you navigate it all.

Everyone and their second cousin has a mock draft these days, so knowing where to start can be overwhelming. But my personal favorite resource is The Ringer's NFL Draft Guide, for a few reasons. First, I listen to their NFL podcasts and trust their coverage. Second, the guide is comprehensive. They have four different mock drafts from four of their experts (Danny Kelly, Diante Lee, Danny Heifetz, and Todd McShay), a big board, and a team need guide. And, finally, the Ringer's NFL Draft page is wildly easy to use.

It's simple to navigate and allows you to dive deeper into every pick or player. You can also find mock drafts at ESPN, CBS, Yahoo, or pretty much anywhere else online. The 2025 NFL Draft is just three days away. After months of speculation, we will finally have answers to the questions surrounding each team's pick. Some teams, like the Cowboys, Buccaneers, Vikings, and Browns, are among those holding the draft hostage by not knowing what they will do. Meanwhile, teams like the Titans, Patriots, and Bears, where we have a better idea of what they may do.

Despite that case for both instances, we still need to practice and, in this case, simulate scenarios for the draft. An exercise we want to do this week is to use all the best NFL Draft simulators at our disposal before the big day on Thursday. We will use them to project what their algorithm has gathered in terms of information and projections leading up to Thursday. From there, we will then share those projections here as a first-round mock draft courtesy of the simulator. Today's tool is ESPN's analytics simulator. ESPN Analytics has released the NFL Draft Day Predictor, which powers the 2025 mock draft simulator tool.

The mock draft simulator allows users to act as the general manager of their favorite team, giving them the opportunity to make picks in all seven rounds and conduct trades throughout the draft. The model uses expert mock drafts, Scouts Inc. grades and team needs to estimate the chance every prospect is taken at each pick. Chances are then calculated based on recent historical accuracy of the combination of the above info, including the chance of a trade. The Draft Day Predictor will be live throughout the draft, providing the percent chance of being picked at each slot for every prospect. The 2025 NFL draft will take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The 2024 college football season is down to its final four teams, and the NFL regular season concluded Sunday. That makes this a great time to take another look at the 2025 NFL draft and fully update our predictions for the 32-team first round. A lot will change before April 24, when the draft rolls into Green Bay, Wisconsin. Some players will unexpectedly return to school; others will surprisingly declare early. Pre-draft events will shake up boards. And offseason needs will be altered by free agency in March.

So take this mock draft as a barometer of where things are right now. Our draft order is based on the final regular season standings, as the first 18 picks are officially set. Tennessee is on the clock with the top pick! The order for playoff teams isn't yet determined, so we relied on ESPN's Football Power Index there (Nos. 19-32). And because no first-round picks have been traded yet, every team is set to enter the draft with its own Day 1 selection.
