Even as leading corporations embrace Generative AI, there is a recognition that progress will require significant levels of transformation, as well as the establishment of safeguards for ethical use.
According to the survey, 99.0% of executives recognize a need for safeguards and guardrails, yet just 62.9% report that these safeguards are in place within their organizations. In addition, only 42.3% say that well-established policies and practices around data and AI responsibility and ethics have been implemented within their companies. Finally, just 50.5% report that the talent is in place within their companies to responsibly implement Generative AI. These are issues that leading corporations are struggling to address.
