Our EITP Online Events Calendar page has all the asynchronous, online trainings that are sponsored by EITP and our collaborator, OneOp. These events use the Canvas learning management system and are open 24/7 and are self-paced.

If you are looking for live, online events (e.g. forum meetings, 1-day trainings, series) from EITP hosted by trainer(s) and facilitator, please visit our EITP Events page. First-time users will be prompted to create a Canvas account. You will only need to create an account once. Login information (username and password) is managed completely by you! (EITP cannot reset passwords and usernames, because only you will have access to this).

Once you're logged into your course, you will be able to start the training immediately. (No more extra self-enrollment steps!) Within your Canvas account, you can access all your online, asynchronous EITP courses and certificates in one place. Yes it is; however, we ask that you do so only if you are certain that you will complete the online training component as required before attending the follow up session. Registration often fills for these events rather quickly and our goal is to ensure that those participants who have completed all of the requirements have the opportunity to attend. All training events posted to the EI Training Events Calendars (EITP events and non-EITP events) have been reveiwed for Illinois early intervention continuing educational credit. Trainings held by organizations other than EITP are posted if any of the content focuses on children birth to three and supports the Principles of Early Intervention.

Please note that an event can be approved for partial credit. Yes, but EITP focuses on early intervention in Illinois and target trainings to your specific needs as someone working in EI in Illinois. We offer high quality and affordable trainings all over the state. Our EITP Events Calendar along with our EITP Online Events Calendar includes events from EITP only.

EITP also has Training Path Recommendations for New Providers (pdf), which outlines recommended trainings and how to find trainings for new EI providers. If you are not a provider, but instead are a service coordinator, interpreter/translator, or parent liaison, you have different requirements. Beyond the required trainings, EITP develops curriculum that reflects Illinois policies and procedures as well as research based best practices in the field of early intervention.
