The news comes a day after the FBI released photos and a video of a person of interest. The footage showed the person running across the roof of one of the university’s buildings, before jumping down and escaping the scene.

Officials will provide further updates during a news conference at 9:30 a.m. ET, which can be watched live on YouTube and at the top of this story. Authorities are giving an update on the search for Charlie Kirk’s assassin after detaining a suspect.
