Draft season is inching closer and closer, which means it’s time for yet another 7-Round 2026 NFL Mock Draft. With each passing week, we get more clarity on the draft order, as well as the upcoming crop of NFL Draft prospects. Editor’s Note: The draft order is based on the current NFL standings as of Week 12 and does not include changes resulting from Week 13’s games, including those from Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and the... Projected Trade: Browns receive No. 1 pick; Titans receive No. 6 pick, No.
22 pick, No. 72 pick, 2027 first-round pick The first pick of the 2026 NFL Draft is in. The Cleveland Browns have made a trade to leap to the top of the board, and with this selection, they take Oregon quarterback Dante Moore. The QB1 debate has truly been a week-to-week conversation in the 2026 NFL Draft cycle, but at this moment, Moore holds my QB1 spot by a slim margin over Fernando Mendoza and Ty Simpson. If he declares, he should be firmly in the No.
1 overall pick mix. Happy holidays everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying the festive season. We’re coming down to the wire in the NFL, with just two weeks (and one game) to go in the regular season before the playoffs kick off. We’re through the first round of the College Football Playoff, and as more teams get eliminated, we’ll get more draft decisions from the prospects we’re still waiting to hear from. In the meantime, I have a new mock draft for you all, reflecting the new results, new tape I’ve watched, and evolving draft order and team needs.
If you want to learn more about these prospects, check out my updated position rankings at the links below. I’ve done four positions so far, with more to come soon: Draft order is based on Tankathon’s updated draft order. The top player in this class is very clear. If you aren’t in the quarterback market at No. 1, you’re taking Bain.
Speed, power, short-area quickness, bend — Bain has it all. He’s the type of game-changing pass rusher you can build a defense around. Return to Round 1 Return to Round 2/3 Return to Round 4/5 Copyright 2008-2026 Drafttek.com. All Rights Reserved. Privacy Policy

Happy New Year, Draft Countdown family! As the regular season comes to a close, I wanted to get a pulse of where the mock draft community stands in terms of the mock draft consensus for the 2026 NFL Draft. I also want to look at what I perceive as the team’s needs as they stand today, and I use our friends over at NFL Mock Draft Database to grab the roundup for this... Buffalo Bills – Edge Rusher, Interior Offensive Line, Linebacker
Miami Dolphins – Offensive Line, Defensive Tackle, Safety New England Patriots – Wide Receiver, Offensive Tackle, Edge Rusher New York Jets – Offensive Line, Quarterback, Wide Receiver We're down to the final three weeks of the NFL regular season. More teams have seen their playoff hopes ended with crucial losses in December. That leaves many with questions heading into the offseason.
For some - only New York and Tennessee at time of publishing - that means a new coaching staff with a few other vacancies potentially set to open up. Even before those teams sort out their coaching staffs for next season, fans are likely already thinking ahead to the 2026 NFL Draft. This draft was viewed as a marquee class for quarterbacks as recently as four months ago. That's changed but there are still multiple passers who could be top-10 picks as things currently stand. But where will they land and how will the first round shake out? We've tapped CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, Pro Football Focus and Sporting News for their input in our latest mock draft roundup.
Picks 1 through 18 are set in the NFL Draft ... for now. Something tells me this is going to be an eventful draft season of trades for a number of reasons. That's because it's not a particularly strong crop of first-round talent. That means we'll see teams willing to move first-rounders for proven players. I'd argue the last time we saw a first round this weak was 2022, and that year set the record with 18 trades involving first-round picks.
That said, I'll play it straight with no trades, at least until we get past the Jan. 23 deadline for players to officially declare for the 2026 NFL Draft. Note: This is the current NFL Draft order after Week 18 (via Tankathon).
