2025 nfl mock draft v3 debacled wf

Post-combine, pre-free agency. Pieces starting to fall together. The Bengals will hope to keep Trey Hendrickson, but in an off-season where they'll need to extend star receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, I could easily see them trading Hendrickson. Myles Murphy also appears a huge bust, so they could use this deep EDGE/DT class to replenish their front seven. Based purely on-tape, Mike Green has a case to be the 2nd or 3rd edge rusher taken. He was a monster for Marshall this season, accumulating a whopping 17 sacks and dozens of pressures.

For his build, he’s also quite an efficient run defender. He has upside to improve and is amongst the younger prospects in this draft class. However, Green is a player being flagged with character issues and amongst any source I trust is being given more late 1st round grades. If Green’s off-field character is clean and he interviews well, he’ll probably go top-20; however, there is a capacity for him to fall. Historically, the Bengals are open-minded to players with problematic character reports, so I could see them being a decent fit for him. V2 Pick: Nick Emmanwori (S, South Carolina) V1 Pick: Nick Emmanwori (S, South Carolina)

The Seahawks reportedly like Kelvin Banks Jr. and Tyler Booker, but its optimistic to think either are still here. Seahawks GM John Schneider has also not historically put a ton of stock into IOL in early rounds. Meanwhile, the Seahawks really need a true TE1, and this is a terrific tight end class with 4 prospects (Warren, Loveland, Arroyo and Taylor) being in my top-40. Warren in particular has been on an absolute tear in 2024 putting up elite production as a receiving tight end. He also should be a functional to decent, if not elite, in-line blocker at the next level.

V2 Pick: Kelvin Banks Jr. (OT/G, Texas) V1 Pick: Jihaad Campbell Lavonte David is close to retirement, and Devin White did not pan out in Tampa Bay. Since then, their linebacking group (really, their front seven in general outside of Vita Vea) has been lacking. The Bucs continue to need better off-ball and on-ball linebacking play. Campbell specialises in the former, possessing true sideline to sideline linebacker with pass rushing upside, good coverage ability and the physical stature to oppress the run Campbell is a bit raw, and some may...

He feels like a hand-in-glove fit for Todd Bowles. V2 Pick: Jihaad Campbell (LB, Alabama) V1 Pick: Malaki Starks (S, Georgia) Bo Nix has far exceeded any reasonable expectations for him as a rookie, and has done so with middling offensive talent. This feels like an offensive weapon spot, be it a running back, wide receiver or - as mocked - a Tight End. Colston Loveland's production dropped with inferior quarterback play, and isn't a demonic blocker by any means, but figures to be a dangerous receiving tight end at the next level. V2 Pick: Colston Loveland (TE, Michigan) V1 Pick: Colston Loveland (TE, Michigan)

"Mock" defines the blend of what we think should and will happen. The other two will work off that and the players available from it. "BPA" (Best Player Available), is the the player with the highest grade at a position of need with a schematic fit. And lastly "Surprise" would be a player that the team could draft that very few see coming. No repeats within the team's picks are allowed. This is a great exercise to show how much variance a particular prospect can have on draft weekend.

For example, the versatile Jihaad Campbell did not get mocked in round one but his name did come into the discussion at #14 overall. All teams blend need with value, but some lean more into one than the other. That is part of the reason why these are impossible to accurately project. Keep the mind open and come up with which one you would prefer. Mock: Cam Ward - QB/Miami BPA: Travis Hunter - ATH/ColoradoSurprise: Abdul Carter - ED/Penn State Mock: Abdul Carter - ED/Penn StateBPA: ATH Travis Hunter - ATH/Colorado Surprise: Shedeur Sanders - QB/Colorado

Mock: Shedeur Sanders - QB/Colorado BPA: ATH Travis Hunter - ATH/Colorado Surprise: Jaxson Dart - QB/Mississippi With just days away from the 2025 NFL Draft, here is how I see the First Round, and my analysis of all my project first round picks. The closer we get to the draft, the more likely this isn’t going to happen, as all signs point towards Cam Ward being the first overall pick, but if the Titans get shy about... While Abdul Carter would be the best selection at first overall for the Titans, perhaps sneaking back to three wouldn’t be bad if it meant grabbing more picks in this draft, or potentially a... While it seems like the top four picks are pretty set in stone at this point, any movement at the top would shake up this draft. At one time a potential Top 5 or 10 pick, Jeanty has dropped not from his performance, but just from the overall need of the position.

However, what if all of this is just smoke? We know that the Raiders love Jeanty, but are unsure about drafting a running back so high – perhaps the Raiders trade back and someone commands a kings ransom for the chance to draft... Cowboys and Broncos are both in the immediate mix for a running back, but don’t leave out the Bears, Steelers, and a trade-happy Giants from getting in the mix. Another highly coveted player is tight end Tyler Warren out of Penn State. Projected as a generational talent and potential future hall of famer, all signs point towards Warren being a game changer for whoever drafts him. So far at least six teams are in the hunt for him, including the Jets, Bears, Colts, Saints, Chargers, and Rams.

If the pre-draft rumors are anything, we could be seeing a scramble early on for who will get the rights to draft Warren. It is no question that Pittsburgh needs a quarterback. The Steelers organization is in disarray, and with TJ Watt hinting at wanting out if things don’t change (timing it right around conversations about Sanders), Pittsburgh needs answers at quarterback. While they’ve interviewed many in this class, Jaxson Dart seems the most likely candidate to head to the confluence of the three rivers. The Steelers don’t have a 2nd Round pick (thanks to the trade that brought DK Metcalf to Pittsburgh), so either trading in to the early 2nd Round or reaching for Dart in the first... If Dart does go in the first, this may open the flood gates for the next set of quarterbacks going… one of which may be Sanders.

The 2025 NFL Draft class is loaded with elite talent, and with teams looking to fill key needs, this year’s draft could be one of the most unpredictable in recent memory. From franchise quarterbacks to dominant pass rushers and lockdown corners, let’s break down each first-round selection with an analysis of how these prospects fit their new teams. Join us as we dive deep into each pick the 2025 NFL Draft holds. 1. Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward, QB, Miami (FL) The Titans grab their franchise quarterback of the future in Cameron Ward. With elite arm talent and next-level mobility, Ward has surged up boards and fits perfectly into a system that’s transitioning to a more dynamic passing offense.

Tennessee desperately needs a leader under center, and Ward has all the tools to deliver. 2. Cleveland Browns – Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado The Browns swing for the most versatile and electric player in the draft. Travis Hunter’s ability to play both cornerback and wide receiver at a high level is rare. Expect the Browns to primarily use him at receiver, where his ball skills and instincts can immediately elevate a shaky WR room. 3.
