2025 Nfl Mock Draft Travis Hunter To Browns Patriots Add Elite Edge
The 2025 NFL Draft is less than a month away, and teams are scrambling to evaluate the top prospects before the big day. Let’s take a look at what teams could do in round 1 with another 2025 NFL Mock Draft. We have gone back and forth on if the Titans will keep No. 1, but Cam Ward’s recent pro day has us leaning toward them keeping the No. 1 overall pick. Check out what the rest of the teams do in round 1.
Cam Ward was great in his pro day and shows he has what it takes to be a solid starter in the league. The Titans try to bait the Giants into moving up to No. 1 but keep the pick and add the quarterback from Miami FL. Ward got better each season in college and can move in the pocket well. He has great touch and could develop quickly into a franchise QB. While pairing up Abdul Carter with Myles Garrett sounds fantastic, the Browns also have huge needs at wide receiver and in their secondary.
They go with elite talent Travis Hunter at No. 2, who is dangerous at multiple positions. It’s unclear how he will be used, but it gives the Browns options later in the draft, knowing Hunter is great at corner and wide receiver. The Giants added quarterbacks Russell Wilson (1-year deal) and Jameis Winston (2-year deal) in free agency, and it seems like they are planning on using these veterans to ease the transition for the quarterback... With Cam Ward going No. 1, the Giants select Shedeur Sanders from Colorado and allow Wilson to play while Sanders gets comfortable.
It will take some of the pressure off of Sanders, who improved his touch and downfield accuracy last season. April is here, officially signaling the final sprint to the 2025 NFL Draft. Anything is possible come draft day, and this year’s class may be filled with more uncertainty than we’ve seen in a long time. Trades, team boards and varying opinions on the game’s most important position will make for an intriguing first round. Here's just one of the numerous possibilities that could play out on draft day. Prior to free agency, the Titans were thought to be potential players in the veteran quarterback market.
Nothing materialized, and they will now almost certainly draft a signal-caller. After finishing 31st in PFF passing grade without pressure, Ward profiles as a significant upgrade over Will Levis, considering the Miami standout earned the highest clean pocket passing grade in the 2025 class. Trade terms: Bears receive Pick No. 2; Browns receive Pick Nos. 10, 39 and 148 and a 2026 first-round pick The Bears evidently believe their roster can win now and have been aggressive to maximize that opportunity.
What’s more aggressive than jumping into the top three to grab the best pass rusher in the class? Dayo Odeyingbo is a solid veteran signing, but Carter’s 93.0 PFF pass-rush grade on true pass sets would raise Chicago's defense into the upper echelon and is well worth the price needed to acquire... Here are the full team-by-team results from Chad Reuter's seven-round mock draft of active NFL players for the 2025 season. The Browns are in such an awkward spot organizationally. Yet as the holders of the No. 2 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, Cleveland can make a maneuver that can benefit the club in the short term and provide the team extra ammo potentially needed to pick a quarterback...
Trading back from the No. 2 pick would be a win-win for this franchise that's still severely hamstrung by the Deshaun Watson contract. Sure, there'll be clamoring for a quarterback with that pick. And maybe GM Andrew Berry and Co. decide either Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward is worthy of that pick. There's a reasonably strong likelihood they won't, and by April, we'll know if they've added a competent bridge quarterback to what should be a much more talent-filled quarterback class in 2026.
If they can find a trade partner within the first few picks after their original spot at No. 2, it'd behoove the Browns to move back, add extra draft capital in future years, and select the best player available when they go on the clock. That's precisely what they do in this mock draft. The draft order below was determined using the current 2025 NFL Draft order. Travis Hunter earned the Heisman Trophy for his performance in the 2024 college football season. The two-way star led the Big 12 in receptions and receiving touchdowns as a wide receiver on offense and was a standout cornerback for the Colorado defense.
Hunter is an anomaly in modern football. No player has been as prolific on both sides of the ball as Hunter in the last 25 years. He has a very good case to be the best player, regardless of position, in the 2025 NFL draft. That makes him an intriguing prospect for teams picking high in the first round. Teams could take him and start him as a rookie full-time on defense, where the transition from college to the professional level isn't quite as tough. Or teams could take advantage of his talents at wide receiver to help jump-start their offense's passing game.
They could do a bit of both as well. Hunter is a valuable player and one of the only prospects in the draft class with All-Pro potential. His size, length, athleticism, playmaking and football IQ give him a high floor at the NFL level. Though he is expected to go early in the 2025 draft, his exact destination is still unknown. Here are the latest predictions from experts at USA TODAY, 33rd Team, Pro Football Focus, CBS Sports and The Athletic. We’re at the point of the NFL season where numerous fan bases have officially turned their attention from the present towards the future in an attempt to instill hope into their hearts for what...
This means looking at some of the players that could provide just the fix their favorite team needs in April, and we’ve got just what you’re looking for with our latest 2025 NFL Mock... The draft order is from Pro Football Network’s free Mock Draft Simulator, where you can create your own mock drafts and draft alongside your friends with a multi-user draft experience. The Jacksonville Jaguars have plenty of needs, which is not abnormal for a team that is set to pick No. 1 overall for the third time in five years. So, a trade-down scenario here is ideal. However, in this mock draft, we’re sticking with the current draft order that’s set by team records through 11 weeks.
With that in mind, the Jaguars go out and get arguably the most talented player in this entire draft, Colorado CB/WR Travis Hunter. Hunter is a truly absurd athlete who plays both offense and defense at Colorado while putting on a show no matter where he’s lined up. After I finish up “The Beast,” my attention shifts to a complete seven-round mock draft. It’s a time-exhaustive task, but I also see it as a helpful thought exercise to focus on team needs, draft trends and fits for all 32 organizations. Scroll to the bottom for team-by-team draft hauls to better see how each team did in this scenario. (Editor’s note: An asterisk designates a compensatory draft pick.)
It became clear at the combine that Ward would be the No. 1 pick. The only question: Would the Titans trade out or stick and pick themselves? Over the last month, it’s become apparent that Tennessee plans to stay in the top spot and hand Ward the keys to its franchise. The Browns are desperate to get the quarterback position right, although I don’t expect them to force the pick. With the best player in the draft still available, it makes sense that the choice here would be Hunter, who could provide a spark on offense (and defense).
It has been a wild last couple of weeks of the NFL season and that has shaken up the potential draft order for 2025. That means the top prospects could be shifting around in the 2025 NFL Draft. There has been a lot of movement in the last few weeks for what team will land the number 1 pick. The Patriots are the new team holding the top pick with the Titans falling second and the Browns third. Check out our latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft. Interested in DFS?
Play NFL fantasy contests on BN Fantasy! The Patriots need help on the offensive line as well as at corner and wide receiver. The question will be do they take the best available tackle (Kelvin Banks Jr. or Will Campbell) or do they go with the best athlete in the draft? Travis Hunter could have an impact on both sides of the ball and might be too talented for the Patriots to pass up. There hasn’t been a wide receiver or cornerback drafted first since 1996 when the Jets took WR Keyshawn Johnson.
The Titans need help on the offensive line but they also don’t know what they are going to do at quarterback. Kelvin Banks Jr. is the top tackle in the draft. He has great lateral quickness and walls off defenders. He has the ability to develop into an elite pass blocker in Tennessee and protect whoever Tennessee has calling the shots. Phil Perry brings you his second NFL Mock Draft pick for the Patriots with the 4th overall pick, as a couple of trades before them secures New England a chance to draft a star
The Senior Bowl has come and gone. Super Bowl LIX is just days away. And there are lessons to be taken from both that we'll apply to our latest NFL Mock Draft. Despite featuring one of the league's best quarterbacks in Patrick Mahomes, the Super Bowl very could well be determined by big bodies in the trenches. Can Kansas City's Chris Jones create enough disruption to stop the Eagles offense? Or is Philly's offensive line too good?
