The NFL combine has come and gone. Let's get to the mock draft. The Tennessee Titans still own the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and just a week out from the start of free agency, trends are starting to take shape ahead of April's proceedings. Based on conversations and interviews conducted in Indianapolis, where the scouting combine was held, and with information from workouts and some of the happenings around the league, here is The Tennessean's latest 2025 first-round... MARKET VALUE: What's trade market like for Tennessee Titans No.

1 NFL draft pick? GMs discuss from combine Don't rule out a trade quite yet. But the Titans' offseason will essentially hinge on this question: How much does being competitive in 2025 matter to this front office? If the answer is "not much," don't be shocked to see the Titans trade back or bolster their defense with this pick. But if the goal is to show tangible progress in coach Brian Callahan's second year, the quarterback options available aren't as copious as they once seemed.

Ward is good enough to start Day 1 and gives the Titans reason for hope — betting on potential rather than a stopgap option that kicks the can down the road. The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine begins next week and it could be more important than most recent years. The gap between players projected midway through the first round and midway through Day 2 is negligible. There is an opportunity for players to cement their first-round status or rise into the conversation. The edge rusher group is one that could potentially see some separation at the combine. Tennessee's James Pearce Jr., Georgia's Jalon Walker and Georgia's Mykel Williams are reliant on good testing scores.

Meanwhile, Marshall's Mike Green could continue his charge up the boards after a strong showing at the Senior Bowl. It will be important for the running back group as well. Beyond Boise State's Ashton Jeanty, there is a cluster at the position that could be busted at the combine. Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III and Michigan cornerback Will Johnson are a few that could reestablish their claims as top draft prospects with strong showings. Without further ado, let's kick this off! The draft order below was determined using the current 2025 NFL Draft order.

You can find "With the First Pick" wherever you get your podcasts: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, etc. With the NFL Draft swiftly approaching and the chaos of free agency dying down, organizations can start to place their full attention on which positions are still in need of an upgrade. All eyes will be on draft night, as there is not a consensus No. 1 pick in this year’s class. This mock draft was created using PFSN’s Free NFL Mock Draft Simulator, where you can do your own mock drafts and draft alongside your friends with our multi-user draft experience.

With that said, let’s dive into this first-round mock draft. It feels as though the closer the draft gets, the less people project the Tennessee Titans to go with a quarterback. This is largely because the top QB prospects simply don’t possess the same ceiling as others in recent classes. Tennessee could opt for one more season with Will Levis at the helm or chase a free agent such as Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson. A unanimous All-American and Big 10 Defensive Player of the Year in 2024, Carter took the country by storm in his first year as a true pass rusher. He has good overall size but just average length for an edge defender.

He is an outstanding overall athlete with a rare blend of speed, burst, and agility that allows him to be a game-wrecker as a pass rusher. The 2025 NFL draft is less than three weeks away, and teams are conducting pre-draft visits with prospects as they look to finalize their draft boards ahead of the draft, which runs April 24-26... Our NFL Wire editors are back with another first-round mock draft, where there's some shake-up in the first round, including the New Orleans Saints making a big move to trade up for a franchise... With the draft fast approaching, here are our latest first-round projections: It’s a boring choice because it’s the most obvious (and mocked) choice, but short of trading down, there’s no way the Titans pass on Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick.

Their approach to free agency makes it clear to outside observers that they’ll target a quarterback early in the draft, and Ward is the best of the 2025 class. He’ll compete with Will Levis and a lackluster quarterback room for the starting job and likely be under center in Week 1. –Dan Benton/Bryan Manning Titans Wire The Browns had the worst offense in the NFL last year. And sure, the quarterback play was a massive contribution to that, but so is the offensive talent. The Browns could go Shedeur Sanders here and address the quarterback position right away, they play the value game here.

Still addressing the offensive side of the ball with a player they view as a wide receiver first, they take Sanders’ teammate instead. Travis Hunter immediately gives the Browns’ offense (and whoever is playing quarterback) an explosive threat to raise the ceiling of the offense. They don’t get cute here, they take the blue chip player. –Cory Kinnan, Browns Wire After I finish up “The Beast,” my attention shifts to a complete seven-round mock draft. It’s a time-exhaustive task, but I also see it as a helpful thought exercise to focus on team needs, draft trends and fits for all 32 organizations.

Scroll to the bottom for team-by-team draft hauls to better see how each team did in this scenario. (Editor’s note: An asterisk designates a compensatory draft pick.) It became clear at the combine that Ward would be the No. 1 pick. The only question: Would the Titans trade out or stick and pick themselves? Over the last month, it’s become apparent that Tennessee plans to stay in the top spot and hand Ward the keys to its franchise.

The Browns are desperate to get the quarterback position right, although I don’t expect them to force the pick. With the best player in the draft still available, it makes sense that the choice here would be Hunter, who could provide a spark on offense (and defense). It is April, and the 2025 NFL Draft is just a few weeks away! What is going to happen in the first round? We take a look at another 2025 NFL Mock Draft to see where top prospects like Cam Ward, Travis Hunter, and Abdul Carter fall. The Titans keep number 1 and go with Cam Ward to start our latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

The Browns get an elite edge rusher, while the Patriots add one of the most versatile prospects in recent memory. The Titans have been impressed with Cam Ward during his workouts, and we think it’s enough to keep the No. 1 pick and select him at the top of the draft. Ward can make all the throws and has shown he is very good at moving around in the pocket to extend plays. He is patient and excels at throwing over the middle. If the Titans hang on to the top pick and select Cam Ward, the Browns will probably go with Abdul Carter to add an elite edge rusher to team up with Myles Garrett.

While Cleveland needs a quarterback, they don’t seem to be sold on Shedeur Sanders and likely wouldn’t give up assets to move up to No. 1 to ensure it gets Ward. They settle for Carter, which is a huge win because he’s an outstanding pass rusher with elite initial quickness. The Giants added quarterbacks Russell Wilson (1-year deal) and Jameis Winston (2-year deal) in free agency and will be using Wilson primarily to help transition to the quarterback they take in the 2025 Draft. With Cam Ward going No. 1, the Giants select Shedeur Sanders from Colorado and allow Wilson to play while Sanders gets comfortable.

It will take some of the pressure off of Sanders, who improved his touch and downfield accuracy last season. The Tennessee Titans have the first-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. With the combine behind them and free agency beginning, their needs are coming into focus with April approaching. We know they need a quarterback, but will they take Cam Ward? We spun the PFF NFL mock draft simulator to see who the Titans take in the first five rounds. The Titans enter the 2025 NFL Draft with six picks in the first eight rounds.

They don't have any extra first-rounders but do have picks in the mid-rounds that they can use to improve their team. If a team falls in love with Ward, they could be knocking down Tennessee's door for that top pick, but this mock draft simulator does not have that happening. Who do the Titans take at number one? And do they give Will Levis any competition? Let's find out in our Titans 2025 NFL mock draft simulator. Cue the draft song, it's time to pick.

Roger Goodell walks to the podium and announces that the Titans are selecting defensive end Abdul Carter out of Penn State. In 16 games with the Nittany Lions this season, he had 13 sacks and 43 hurries. Even when teams game planned around him, he still wrecked games throughout the College Football Playoff. It was likely hard for the Titans to pass on a quarterback but without the elite talent at the top of the board, they go defense. This is a realistic option, as Tennessee was miserable on defense as well. Can Mike Borgonzi surround him with talent and make the playoffs through a great defense next year?

Maybe, but he'll need to finish off the draft with great prospects first.
