2025 Nfl Draft Big Board Top 100 Prospects From Ryan Mccrystal
Building an NFL draft board is a work in progress throughout the offseason. The NFL Combine is always a significant step towards completing the process, and the final touches can be put on as players work through their Pro Days. Here's my prediction for first 100 players to hear their name called in this year's draft, ranked based on my personal grades. Ryan McCrystal has the eighth-best big board over the last five years, according to The Huddle Report. Don't miss out on Warren Sharp's 500+ page preview of the 2025 NFL season. With the Combine coming up, it’s time to unveil an updated top 100 big board for the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.
There have been a few changes since I released my position ranking updates, as the Senior Bowl has passed and I’ve had more time to continue to evaluate these prospects. For in-depth scouting reports on these players, check out the individual position ranking articles. For each player in my top 10 at a position, I did an extensive write-up, discussing their history and analyzing their film. As always, stay tuned for more draft coverage, as the Combine is just around the corner. You can see my summer top 50 big board below, as well as my updated position top-10s. Legitimate two-way prospect and generational talent.
The best running back prospect since at least Bijan Robinson and maybe even Saquon Barkley. This final update to the Football Scout 365 Top 100 Big Board features a tiered ranking system built around our proprietary grading scale. Players are categorized into tiers — Elite, Near Elite, High-End Starter, Mid-Level Starter, and Low-Level Starter Potential — to reflect more than just rank. Each tier captures a player's projected ceiling, scheme fit, and expected NFL impact based on film, traits, and positional value. This year’s class is defensively dominant, particularly in the front seven. Of the 100 total prospects, 32 are defensive linemen, edge rushers, or linebackers — a clear indication that front-seven talent headlines the 2025 NFL Draft.
A disruptive interior force with elite pad level, violent hands, and short-area quickness. He projects as a Day 1 impact starter in a 4-3 or 3-4 front. Explosive off the edge with rare twitch, bend, and violence. A scheme-versatile playmaker with All-Pro upside as a 3-4 OLB or 4-3 DE. The ultimate two-way weapon. He could be WR1 or CB1 depending on team fit.
Until a team declares a position, he remains ATH1 — and the most dynamic talent in this class. Here are my top 100 players in the 2025 NFL Draft The tape has been watched, 40 yard dashes have been run, and interviews are complete. We have a few days left until the 2025 NFL Draft, and at this point the hay is in the barn. This draft class has been a really fun one to scout, even without having too many superstars in the class. In my opinion, there are only three surefire blue-chip talents in this draft: Colorado WR/DB Travis Hunter, Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty and Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter.
I think there are some very good prospects behind them, but those three guys are capable of making an instant impact for any NFL franchise. After that, it gets a bit murky. Most of the guys at the top all have their respective question marks--production (Texas A&M EDGE Shemar Stewart), measurables (LSU OT Will Campbell) or off-field concerns (Marshall EDGE Mike Green). But that’s what makes this class interesting-- trying to parse through it all to see which players will be quality ones in the league. With that being said, here is my top 100 players in the 2025 NFL Draft class. 28 Donovan Ezeiruaku Edge Boston College
90 Demetrius Knight Jr. LB South Carolina Read Dane Brugler’s 2025 ‘The Beast’ NFL Draft guide. In the last few weeks before the NFL scouting combine, teams conduct scouting meetings to have healthy debates on prospects and build initial draft boards. Their rankings won’t be set in stone as the 2025 NFL Draft process continues to play out, but they establish a foundation going into the combine later this month. Similarly, our board will have some fluctuation before the draft arrives in April, but this updated top 100 provides a frame of reference as the final draft picture comes into focus.
Hunter ranked No. 1 on my November draft board, and nothing has changed over the last few months. He doesn’t have the top spot just because he can play both ways — that is more of a bonus. His athleticism, length and ball instincts are why he's here, and those traits give him a sky-high ceiling at cornerback. When discussing potential fantasy rookies, draft capital gets thrown around as an important factor. If NFL teams are high on a player, they will be drafted highly.
If not, they fall in the draft. Pretty simple. But, the context of the NFL Draft class as a whole is often left out of the discussion. What if RBs or WRs fall in the draft because the EDGE and CB classes are stronger? This can lead to even Day 3 players being worthwhile fantasy picks. Here is my FINAL Top 100 Big Board for the 2025 NFL Draft to give a sense of where skill position players stack up against the class.

In less than 25 days, teams will be selecting their next class of rookies in Green Bay. All 32 teams are starting to wrap up their scouting meetings and solidify their initial draft boards, while also identifying players they could realistically draft or move up to secure, if necessary. This board serves as how I see the class now that the scouting combine is done, along with the all-star games, visits, and pro days all wrapping up. We finally have a clear look at this group, so here is my top 100.
I will say, this class especially has so many players with similar grades, making it one of the toughest boards to sort out in recent years.
