He leaves behind a young widow and two children - a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old. His widow is likely wondering what words she will use to tell their daughter that daddy will not be coming home ever again, if she hasn’t already had this conversation. He is survived by both parents and a sister. Their lives have been shattered. Whatever ideology they hold, it is now background noise to an unimaginable loss: a husband, father, son, and brother is dead today. I am seeing comments on social media that are profoundly disturbing.
