updated las vegas raiders draft picks after relatively quiet msn

The Las Vegas Raiders made a trade on Tuesday ahead of the 4 p.m. ET deadline. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Raiders are trading wide receiver Jakobi Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Schefter added that Las Vegas is getting fourth and sixth-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. "ESPN sources: Raiders are trading WR Jakobi Meyers to the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for fourth- and sixth-round picks," Schefter said on X. "Multiple teams including the Steelers and Jaguars had shown interest in Meyers, who is scheduled to become a free agent after his contract expires this season."

It isn't shocking at all that Meyers has been traded out of Las Vegas. The veteran receiver requested a trade in August due to failed contract negotiations, and even publicly stated in October that he wants to be moved to a new team. Additionally, Meyers will be a free agent in the spring, and the likelihood of him re-signing with the Raiders after all the drama was slim. The trade saw the Raiders give up a 2026 fifth-round pick for Pickett, who will now replace Aidan O'Connell after he suffered a fractured wrist in the preseason Week 3 game against the Arizona...

With that draft pick subtracted, here's the updated list of Raiders 2026 selections, including projected compensatory picks that come via Over The Cap: The projected compensatory selections come from the free-agent departures of safety Tre'von Moehrig to the Carolina Panthers (Round 4) and cornerback Nate Hobbs (Round 5) to the Green Bay Packers. Even with the trade that will bring Geno Smith to Las Vegas, the Raiders will still have a full draft haul. That's because the pick they sent to Seattle was the third round pick (92) they got from the Jets in the Davante Adams trade early last season. What we don't yet know for sure is the compensatory draft picks. But as of now, this is where the Raiders will select in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Raiders are projected to receive two Round six compensatory picks. In addition, several picks will be added to the bottoms of rounds 3-6 which will lower the pick numbers for their selections in rounds 4-7. But those selections have not been made official yet, so until they're announced, any compensatory picks you see listed on other sites are just projections. As of now, they still have all their original round picks. And they basically traded 11 games of Davante Adams for Geno Smith. That seems like a pretty good deal to me.
