Conservative influencer and founder of Turning Point USA Charlie Kirk was shot and killed at a campus event in Utah on Sept. 10. Kirk is a longtime ally of President Donald Trump, and he has been on an "American Comeback Tour" at colleges across the country. Trump was quick to call for prayers for Kirk after the shooting occurred, the president then then announced Kirk's death on Truth Social. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox initially confirmed that a "person of interest" is in custody.
