The 2025 NFL Draft is five months away. A lot will change between now and then, but it is never too early to showcase the hard work put into evaluating potential talents while spotlighting lesser-known college players with NFL ability. This top-100 big board is fluid. Grades will change. New players will emerge. College all-star games and athletic testing will shift the rankings.

Medical evaluations in Indianapolis will do the same. However, these are the top 100 players in the 2025 NFL Draft class through November. Ranking Notes: Each player has a numerical grade based on a formula of weighted traits assigned to each position. This isn’t an “I feel this player is this good, so I’ll put him here” ranking. Traits are weighted by importance to the position, and some positions, like DTs and EDGEs, are separated further because of the versatility of each spot. Additionally, positional value is integrated into the rankings via a weighted scale, though said weighting does not fully encapsulate things like the “QB tax.”

For transparency, here’s how many prospects grade out inside each range: 28 Donovan Ezeiruaku Edge Boston College 90 Demetrius Knight Jr. LB South Carolina The 2025 NFL Draft is here, and Steelers Now has you covered for the first round and beyond, with every mock draft, big board and piece of draft news you need. Here’s our Top 100 big board from analyst Derrick Bell:

Two-way Superstar and naturally gifted athlete with exceptional ball skills and innate spatial awareness. Hunter is a highly intelligent, well-conditioned athlete with game-breaking ability and true All-Pro potential at two different positions. Regardless of his preferred positional path, he’s a franchise-altering centerpiece that could become the new barometer for the term generational prospect in the NFL Draft. Lightning-quick speed rusher with an astonishing blend of suddenness and burst up the arc, with a skill set that is developing at a rapid pace given his age and snaps playing this position. Carter operates at 1.5x speed on the football field, can run under a table at full speed and improved his hand usage as the season went on. He’s slightly undersized but he’s one of the true blue chip prospects in this class because of his frenetic energy and limitless potential.

Dominant workhorse with a low center of gravity and the capacity to sequence moves together in quick succession. Jeanty has all the necessary traits of a difference making running back: amazing vision, elite contact balance and good short area burst. So long as his body continues to withstand the mileage, it’s easy to imagine a reality in which he becomes one of the more unstoppable ball carriers that we’ve seen in quite some time. Part of my mock draft preamble explains it is an attempt at figuring out the best players available in this season’s draft class, and which teams they’d match up well with considering the draft... The closer we get to draft day, the more I attempt to match what teams will actually do with their draft picks as opposed to what I believe they should do. Last season, I was the third-most accurate NFL draft prognosticator in print, according to The Huddle Report.

I’m tied for fifth overall (out of 172) over the past five years. My big board is an attempt to discern who the best players in this draft class actually are. I’ve only submitted my top-100 the past three years, but I’m in the top 20 over that timeframe. Official scoring is averaged over five years. Here’s my final 2025 NFL Draft Big Board (top 100 prospects): 11.

James Pearce Jr., Edge, Tennessee, Jr. It’s possible that all 32 teams could have the same top-three prospects — in one order or another — on their NFL Draft boards. But there is a scouting consensus developing that receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, edge rusher Abdul Carter, running back Ashton Jeanty are the three best prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. Clarity gets muddied, of course, when you start weighing factors such as the position value of a running back, Hunter’s desire to play both ways and the franchise-changing power of a young quarterback. PFF has tailored a top 100 big board for each of the league’s 32 franchises using the PFF Big Board and PFF Draft Guide. Each team’s board is designed to reflect their specific needs, strategies and long-term objectives.

Here are my top 100 players in the 2025 NFL Draft The tape has been watched, 40 yard dashes have been run, and interviews are complete. We have a few days left until the 2025 NFL Draft, and at this point the hay is in the barn. This draft class has been a really fun one to scout, even without having too many superstars in the class.

In my opinion, there are only three surefire blue-chip talents in this draft: Colorado WR/DB Travis Hunter, Boise State RB Ashton Jeanty and Penn State EDGE Abdul Carter. I think there are some very good prospects behind them, but those three guys are capable of making an instant impact for any NFL franchise. After that, it gets a bit murky. Most of the guys at the top all have their respective question marks--production (Texas A&M EDGE Shemar Stewart), measurables (LSU OT Will Campbell) or off-field concerns (Marshall EDGE Mike Green). But that’s what makes this class interesting-- trying to parse through it all to see which players will be quality ones in the league. With that being said, here is my top 100 players in the 2025 NFL Draft class.
