He might be known for his quirky and fun Facebook posts, but on Wednesday, Tom Brady took a somewhat more traditional approach to the thank you letter. Rather than a typed out letter, he shared a photo of a handwritten note addressed to Patriots fans. Penned on personal stationary, the letter reads: "Thank you to all of our fans for the incredible support you gave us this season. I'm proud to call New England my home and to have the privilege of playing for your team. Our team fought hard all year, right down to the final play.

I'm proud of the effort we all put in to prepare each game as if it were our last. We never quit nor lost sight of what we were playing for. It's rare to have the honor of being on a team like that. As I sit down to write this letter, I am overcome with gratitude, emotion, and reverence for a chapter in my life that has forever impacted who I am – as a man and... This message is more than simply a perspective; it is a heartfelt dedication to the organization, the fans, and the whole Patriots community who have given me everything and more. You embraced me from the minute I came in Foxborough in 2000, as a tiny kid drafted 199th overall with nothing but belief and a willingness to work.

You believed in me before the rest of the world did. You provided me the opportunity to compete, grow, and, ultimately, lead. For this, I am eternally grateful. Thank you, Mr. Robert Kraft, for your unshakable trust and devotion. Your leadership fostered a culture in which winning was not only expected, but ingrained.

You raised a family in New England, and I’m glad to have called it home. Thank you, Coach Bill Belichick, for challenging me, demanding the best from me, and pushing me to reach limits I had no idea existed. You instilled in me the discipline, mental toughness, and preparedness that would serve me well throughout my career. I have unending respect for you. The post had nearly a quarter of a million likes as of Thursday afternoon and as you'd expect was well-received by Patriots fans, who have staunchly supported Brady throughout the deflate-gate drama. Perhaps as old as his dinosaur laptop is New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s stationery.
