Mr. Wieland represents employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law matters, including employment discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and wage and hour. He regularly counsels employers regarding human resources policy matters and employee relations issues. He also represents private sector clients with business litigation matters including unfair competition, trade secret, and breach of contract. Prior to practicing law, Mr.
Wieland worked with several California State Assembly and U.S. House of Representatives members where he gained a unique understanding of the legislative process, strategic planning, outreach and analysis. Further, he managed campaigns for several local elected officials and spent two years as a member consultant with the California State Assembly Speaker's Office of Member Services. He also worked as the Program Coordinator for the Kenneth L. Maddy Institute of California State University, Fresno. Mr.
Wieland was selected as a member of the 40 under 40 class of 2013 by Business Street Online. Mr. Sagaser was admitted to the Bar of the State of California in 1976. Mr. Sagaser has been representing employers in employment litigation and labor law matters since 1976. He has extensive jury and court trial experience in all levels of State and Federal Court, NLRB, ALRB, EEOC and other administrative agencies on a broad range of labor matters.
He has handled numerous jury trials and defended class action lawsuits. Mr. Sagaser graduated in the top 10% of his class and was Order of the Coif. While in law School, Mr. Sagaser was a member of the Thurston Society and editorial associate for Hastings Law Journal and served as an extern to Justice William P. Clark at the California Supreme Court his third year of law school.
