Since joining the organization in 2019, she has guided the team through pivotal moments such as arena construction, team naming and launching the team. Her efforts help drive the Seattle Kraken's organizational success through compelling narratives and reputation management.

She previously worked for WE Communications with clients including Micrsoft, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Volvo, following a successful career with the BBC as a senior news and sports producer. Katie has worked at two Olympic Games, the Criket World Cup and with a number of Premier League soccer teams.
