Professional Development Prsa Central Ca
The Central California Chapter of PRSA is dedicated to helping practitioners stay on the leading edge of their careers by providing seminars, training and opportunities to network with others in the field. In this section you will find information on how to do your job and advance your career. Successful public relations hinges on the ethics of its practitioners. To help members navigate ethics principles and applications, the national society created, and continues to maintain, the PRSA Code of Ethics. Under the Code, widely regarded as the industry standard, members pledge to core values and principles. The national Society offers its members various resources — the PRSA Code of Ethics, Professional Standards Advisories, topical analyses and case studies — to make the topic of ethics more accessible.
Additionally, PRSA declared September as “Ethics Month” and dedicates its monthly newsletter and programming to ethics topics. The Central California Chapter supports the national PRSA Code of Ethics by providing ongoing awareness and education.
