CivicTracker now tracks the actions and public statements of not just the President, but Congress, the Cabinet, and the Supreme Court. This transformation reflects a simple belief:
CivicTracker now lets you stay effortlessly informed about every bill you care about. With version 1.1.0, I’ve launched our first wave of legislation tracking. This means you can finally follow the life of a bill from the moment it’s introduced to the second it passes—or fails. If it moves, you’ll know. You can now get notified when a bill is introduced, amended, or passed. This feature is currently in beta, so you might notice a few hiccups.
I’d love your feedback as I continue improving it. Want to follow everything related to climate, immigration, or tariffs? Now you can, with topic filters that work: Last year I built POTUS Tracker to keep up with what the President was doing in real time. That project grew into CivicTracker with the help of VoteHub, and it now covers Congress, the Supreme Court, the Cabinet, all in one place. The idea is still the same: make it easier to see what people in power are doing, without having to dig through government websites, social media, or 100 tabs of news.
After months of work, here's what CivicTracker can help you do: - Track presidential actions in real-time from executive orders and proclamations to memoranda, with detailed summaries and PDF access. - Follow all 535 members of Congress, their social media activity, voting records, and sponsored legislation with filtering by party, state, and policy area. - Follow Supreme Court decisions with instant updates on case rulings, opinions, and oral arguments with extended summaries and justice vote records. - Track legislation through the legislative process with status updates, policy area categorization, and sponsor information. - Create personalized mobile alerts for all of the above, filtering by specific politicians, keywords, or topics. CivicTracker is for people who teach or write about politics, follow policy closely, or just want to stay informed in a moment when what you knew yesterday might not hold up today.

In this fashion, we can begin to tie data together to create a better understanding of what is going on in our world. President Donald J. Trump took office on January 20, 205, after winning the US Presidential election on November 5, 2024.
His victory in the 2024 election set events in motion. For that reason, we have begun tracking our metrics starting on November 5th. We track percent change so that it's easier to see how something has changed over time, versus looking at just the raw numeric value. When comparing multiple metrics with differing values, it's also easier to graph them along the same axis and scale . This page should load our charts and news events. If you aren't seeing it, it could mean the site is undergoing maintenance or experiencing an error.
