Thousands gathered in Times Square Saturday for the “No Kings” protest, calling for democracy and equal rights amid growing concerns about political power. The crowd stretched from Seventh Avenue to 14th, filling sidewalks with homemade signs and flags, many reading “No Kings.” Chants echoed between the towering buildings as the crowd marched. City Councilors marched shoulder to shoulder with protesters.

The march began at 11 a.m. and the streets were flooded with anti-Trump posters. Trump, who is spending the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, spoke out about it ahead of the protest.
