NFL fans have called for Tom Brady to be fired from Fox just six weeks into his blockbuster 10-year, $375 million deal as an analyst. The NFL legend's love affair with football continued Tuesday when his long-awaited bid to become a part-owner of the Las Vegas Raiders was finally approved. The seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback initially agreed to become a limited partner of the Raiders back in May 2023 but his 10 percent stake deal was stalled amid concerns from other NFL owners regarding... January 17, 2025, 3:19pm EST 2K+ • By Alex Hoegler Football fans are losing their minds after Tom Brady’s agent revealed his client’s long-term plans with FOX as a broadcaster. Tom Brady is wrapping up the first season of a 10-year, $375 million contract he signed with FOX in 2022.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion has drawn mixed reviews in his first year as an analyst, with some criticizing his energy, delivery, and ability to provide quality analysis. As part owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, Brady also has to follow a long list of rules that impact his work as an analyst. He cannot criticize the officials on air and is banned from visiting other teams’ facilities and watching their practices, production meetings, etc. Speculation has ramped up that he’ll walk away from FOX after just one year. But Brady’s longtime agent, Don Yee, revealed in a recent interview with the Sports Business Journal that his client plans to continue his broadcasting career: NFL fans are raising serious concerns over Tom Brady’s role as Fox’s lead NFL analyst while also holding a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders.

When Tom Brady signed his massive 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox in 2022, most welcomed the idea of the former Patriots and Buccaneers QB joining the broadcast booth. But things have changed since he became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders in March 2023. Now, fans say Brady’s dual role is a blatant conflict of interest, and they’re demanding action. A recent viral clip posted by Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team showed Brady wearing full Raiders gear at the team’s training camp. That alone was enough to trigger a wave of angry reactions across social media. The GOAT: #Raiders minority owner Tom Brady was at practice today, decked out in team gear.

Instead, Brady's performance in Year 1 has been so erratic that some have speculated on whether Brady would give up on broadcasting after just one season. Brady -- who is also a minority owner of the Raiders -- has needed to navigate league-mandated restrictions, the undeniable conflict of interest and the nuances of speaking on live television. It hasn't been easy, and it was obvious on Wednesday that Brady had heard those rumors. In Wednesday's edition of The Herd with Colin Cowherd, the Fox personality jokingly teased the segment as if Brady was going to announce his departure from Fox.

Brady even went as far as to sarcastically joke about it, but it became clear that the seven-time Super Bowl winner had no plans to leave the booth. "So I got nine years left on my deal. Maybe longer, you never know. If Fox wants me and I want to go, we'll just keep going because it's been really fun thus far." Again, with a $375 million deal, it would take something drastic for Brady to willingly walk away from that. We already know that the league has no problems with his Raiders conflict, so why wouldn't he want to stick around?
