Nfl Draft Sb Nation
Everything you need to know about the NFL Draft, from prospect profiles, mock drafts, interviews, combine information and more. It’s officially the offseason, so what changes do you want to see? As the Detroit Lions turn the corner to the offseason ahead, we’ve officially entered Mock Draft season. Our Mock Draft Roundup series will return later in the week, but we thought it’d be a good idea to kick things off by breaking down a Mock Draft from the SB Nation mothership,... The early expectations for this draft cycle for the Detroit Lions anticipate the Lions focusing on the trenches, most notably on the offensive line and edge rushers. Schofield has quarterbacks Fernando Mendoza (Indiana) and Dante Moore (Oregon) as the first two players off the board, with offensive tackle Spencer Fano (Utah) and EDGE Rueben Bain Jr.
(Miami) the next players off the board. Hybrid linebacker Arvell Reese (Ohio State) is off the board at No. 7, followed by EDGE Kendrick Faulk (Auburn) picked next. EDGE David Bailey (Texas Tech) goes at No. 12, with offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa (Miami) off the board two picks later at No. 14 overall.
Despite some serious trench talent off the board, Schofield still has the Lions staying in the trenches, and with the No. 17 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, he projects the Lions to take… “A major reason behind the Detroit Lions’ downward turn this year was the struggles in front of Jared Goff. While he posted an Adjusted Completion Percentage of 68.5% when pressured according to Pro Football Focus, tenth-best in the NFL, he was sacked a career high 36 times. Finding some help along the interior is a big need for Brad Holmes, and Detroit gets that in Olaivavega Ioane, a bright spot for Penn State this past season.” Here is the updated order for the 2026 NFL Draft after Wild Card weekend
The NFL’s Wild Card weekend will set the eight teams that will move on to next week’s Divisional Round. It will also lock six more teams into their spots for the 2026 NFL Draft. The five teams that lost this past weekend now know where they will be picking in the upcoming NFL Draft, with the Carolina Panthers now slotted into the 19th pick, leading off the playoff... Two of those teams — the Green Bay Packers and the Jacksonville Jaguars — traded those picks away, meaning the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Browns now know where their second picks will be... One more team will learn their draft position tonight, when the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Houston Texans in the final game of Wild Card Weekend. The Buffalo Bills are headed back to the Divisional Round for the sixth straight season.
The Bills won a back-and-forth affair 27-24 after Josh Allen led them on a game-winning drive in the final three minutes. The game saw seven lead changes and came down to the final minute. The Bills converted a 4th and 1 with one of the most impressive QB dive plays we’ve ever seen before Allen punched it in from the one yard line. Buffalo is headed to the Divisional Round to face one of a handful of teams depending on the outcome of the remaining Wild Card games. Content creation in the social media age is a delicate business. When it comes to written work, the art involves carefully crafted headlines, snappy and engaging content, and well-timed promotion on social media.
Often, that involves scheduling social media posts, and even the publication of the content itself, ahead of time, aimed at a moment when it can capture the most eyeballs. Early mornings are a prime time for these posts, trying to catch people on their way to work or get into the stream of promoted content on Google. Liverpool need defenders. Liverpool have money. Marc Guehi is a very good defender who wants to leave his current club and has ample Premier League experience. The math should be extremely easy here, but when tens of millions of pounds are involved, nothing is ever simple.

The Everton Under 21s took on their Leicester City counterparts on a very cold Friday night at Walton Hall Park. They lined up as the team-sheet below, some notable absentees in Braiden Graham and Callum Bates. They, like “senior U21 players” Reece Welch and Eli Campbell, were all destined to be in David Moyes’ heavily depleted first team squad for the FA Cup game against Sunderland on the Saturday. The Seahawks have got their offensive lineman. What’s your grade for that pick? Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL.
Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Seattle Seahawks fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys. The Seattle Seahawks decided to stick and pick at No. 18 in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. After much speculation, the Seahawks addressed the trenches and chose North Dakota State offensive lineman Grey Zabel. He has that positional versatility to be a guard, center, or tackle, but his future looks to be as a guard.
You wanted John Schneider to take an offensive lineman early? You’ve got it. This is as early as he’s taken a projected interior offensive lineman in his entire tenure as Seahawks GM. Will Zabel pan out? That remains to be seen. But after coming away with no starters in free agency, the draft was always going to be important for building this OL.
Give us your grade in the survey below! Do you think the Seahawks made the right call at 18? All the answers are letter grades. The Jacksonville Jaguars had a choice between Mason Graham and Will Campbell in SB Nation’s 2025 NFL mock draft. SB Nation has completed the first round of its 19th annual team community mock draft! This year’s mock will be two rounds — full results will be posted on Thursday morning.
Here was my process in Round 1 as the mock general manager for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville’s new regime is expected to covet trench players on either side of the line of scrimmage entering the 2025 NFL Draft. With the NFL Draft just a few weeks away, it’s time again for SB Nation’s Mock Draft with all 32 team sites. As expected, players like Cam Ward, Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter, Will Campbell and Shedeur Saunders were already off the board when it was time for the New Orleans Saints to make their pick. As Editor-in-Chief of CSC, I had the opportunity to act as the Saints general manager and make their pick. So, without further ado... With the 9th overall pick in the 2025 SB Nation mock draft, the Saints select WR Tetairoa McMilllan, WR Arizona. At 6’4” and 215 lbs., McMillian is big, physical receiver who has the ability to become a much-needed weapon for the Saints on offense.
Injuries plagued the wide receiver group last season, with the losses of Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, and Taysom Hill. But even when healthy, they still lack someone like “T-Mac” who excels as both an X and Slot receiver fluidly, which is something rare for a receiver of his size. His versatility will be helpful in the future in creating mismatches for defenses trying to cover him. Through his 3 seasons at Arizona, McMillian became their all-time leader in receiving yards with 3,423. He recorded 213 total receptions with the Wildcats, finishing fourth in program history. In 2024, his 1,319 yards were the fifth-most during a single season in school history and placed him third nationally.
He earned First-Team All-American honors from the Associated Press, AFCA, USA Today, CBS/247Sports, Phil Steele Magazine and Pro Football Focus. McMillian was also named Polynesian College Football Player of the Year and a finalist for the Fred Biletnikoff Award. The Cleveland Browns 2026 NFL draft order gets more clarity after Jacksonville Jaguars loss in the playoffs For the Cleveland Browns, the head coaching search is the clear and present issue that needs to be resolved, but the 2026 NFL draft could decide as much or more about the team’s future. While a Browns legend weighs in on potential coach options and a few blasts from the past are interview candidates, the NFL playoffs show us how important first-round quarterbacks can be. Two games during Wild Card weekend of the NFL playoffs were set to impact Cleveland’s 2026 NFL draft order.
