It used to be free, and we were genuinely happy with the service.

However, when they switched to a paid model, we had to upgrade to continue converting links. That’s when the problems started. Shortly after upgrading, we were no longer able to convert YouTube videos at all.To their credit, they did respond each time we contacted them, but their explanation was that due to a policy change... The issue is that we were made to pay for a service they were no longer able to provide. When we requested a refund, they refused, citing their no-refund policy after an upgrade.We have since cancelled our subscription and will not be using Kapwing again. We found their approach to be unethical, as they charged for a feature they knew they could not deliver.
