The actions are set to take place during Donald Trump’s military parade in Washington, D.C., on June 14. Instead of allowing this military parade to be the center of gravity, activists will make action everywhere else the story of America that day. Alongside local organizers, partners, and leaders from across the pro-democracy and pro-worker movements, activists across the country will come together for marches, rallies, and demonstrations to reject corrupt, authoritarian politics in the United States.

This mobilization is inspired by the success of Hands Off! and May Day and is intended to once again motivate actions in towns and cities in every state in the country. Over 100 events have already been registered all over the country, and more will be added here. He wants to be a tyrant king -- so he’s throwing himself a taxpayer-funded parade on his birthday, just like he’s seen other tyrants do. But we don’t do kings here. And together, we’ll let Donald Trump know it. While Trump hosts his birthday parade in DC, we’ll rise up everywhere else -- with your help, in numbers even bigger than Hands Off! -- to show him what real power looks like. They were the battle cry of the Continental Congress that adopted the American flag in June of 1777, in the midst of a war to throw off a monarchy. June 14 in fact -- Flag Day. Donald Trump has disgraced those principles. He’s actively defying our courts, sidelining Congress, cracking down on dissent, and, with this ego-driven military parade, stealing from the people to pay for his birthday party.
