Lancaster eprints is the research repository for Lancaster University. You can search the site for Lancaster theses, or browse by department, year or subject. PQDTGlobal is considered the world’s most comprehensive collection of full-text dissertations and theses. The collection comprises millions of searchable citations from 1861 through to the present day, together with over a million full-text, graduate dissertations and theses added since 1997. Annually, around 70,000 new, full-text documents are added to the collection from 700+ academic institutions worldwide. Lancaster University doctoral theses must be deposited with the Library when a degree is awarded.

They will be searchable in OneSearch as soon as possible. Theses and dissertations at other levels do not have to be deposited with the Library. However many masters' theses are presented to the Library and can be found via OneSearch. We launched a new generative AI Research Assistant on our OneSearch discovery service ready for the 2025-26 academic year. The Research Assistant was developed by our vendors Clarivate and enables natural language searching of the extensive Primo Discovery Index of scholarly sources, including books, journal articles and conference proceedings. The Research Assistant underwent a period of testing by our Faculty Librarian team and is now available to all students and staff at Lancaster University. CAMBRIDGE, UK, March 10, 2021 – Graduate research from Lancaster University, named International University of the Year for 2020 by The Times, will now be included in the ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global® (PQDT)... Lancaster University has been consistently ranked among the UK’s top institutions – and with a campus in Ghana, a joint institute in China with Beijing Jiaotong University, and a new campus planned in Germany,... The PQDT database now includes the full text of Lancaster University graduate students’ research theses. Dissertations and theses often provide the most up-to-date, comprehensive and sometimes unique research on specific subjects. Now, more than four million researchers at 3,100 universities participating in PQDT around the world will have access to theses and dissertations authored by Lancaster graduates. Primary citations will appear in Google Scholar and other major subject indexes, and Lancaster can also track, monitor and see trends in usage with the new ETD Dashboard.

Dissertations Theses @ provides access to the citations,abstracts, and possibly the full text of dissertations and theses graduate students at the University of South Carolina have published through UMI Dissertation Publishing. Dissertations beginning in 2009 are deposited in Carolina’;s institutional repository. For earlier documents, per agreement with the Graduate School, dissertations in Scholar Commons can only be accessed from an on-campus computer with IP address beginning 129.252. and may not be used via the proxy. USC affiliated users can access the Dissertations Theses database. Later theses and dissertations deposited in Scholar Commons will be open access, available to anyone from anywhere
