Final 2025 First Round Nfl Mock Draft Has Chicago Bears Stealing Msn
The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and the closer it gets, the wilder NFL mock drafts become. The latest example of a shocking first-round projection came from Pro Football Network, which had the Bears selecting Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson with the 10th overall pick. "The 10th pick may feel rich for a running back who isn’t generally considered a blue-chip talent," PFN's Reese Decker wrote. "Back in Detroit, Johnson saw General Manager Brad Holmes use the 12th overall pick to select Alabama’s Jahmyr Gibbs, who became a foundational piece of Johnson’s high-powered offense. "Now in Chicago, Johnson could look to recreate that same formula. Pairing Henderson with veteran D’Andre Swift could give the Bears a familiar one-two punch reminiscent of the “Sonic and Knuckles” backfield he helped build in Detroit—this time with Henderson sliding into the Gibbs role."
The Bears are one of a handful of teams expected to be in the market for a first-round running back, but most of the speculation has surrounded Boise State's Ashton Jeanty and North Carolina's... The 2025 NFL draft is just days away, where teams are finalizing their draft boards before things kick off in Green Bay on April 24. There are plenty of storylines to monitor heading into the first round, including how the Top 10 unfolds behind the Tennessee Titans (who are expected to select quarterback Cam Ward at first overall), how... We're unveiling our final NFL Wires mock draft of the 2025 offseason. Our editors made player selections for all 32 picks in the first round. Here are the results.
There are only two scenarios facing the Titans at No. 1 overall: Select Miami quarterback Cam Ward or trade down. Although Tennessee remains open to such a trade, it’s becoming increasingly less likely. Ward will be the pick when things kick off in Green Bay and then the true madness of the NFL draft will begin. – Dan Benton, Titans Wire The stars are aligning for the Browns to land the best player in the draft.
With Cam Ward going first overall to the Titans, the Browns keep it simple here and take the blue-chip player, Travis Hunter, rather than trying to force the pick on a quarterback despite their... Their offense gets a dynamic playmaker, and their defense gets an elite lockdown corner who will come on the field in obvious passing situations. This is the best-case scenario. –Cory Kinnan, Browns Wire Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles couldn’t hide his grin at Wednesday’s press conference when asked how the team’s revamped offensive line impacts his first-round draft plans for the 2025 NFL Draft. “This really opens the whole board for us,” Poles said.
“We’re going to be able to sit back and kind of look and say, ‘What’s the best thing to do for the Chicago Bears? And who’s the best player that can impact [us]?’ We’ve got some tough decisions and a lot of film to watch between now and the draft.” Indeed, the 2025 NFL draft board has opened up for Poles and the Bears, and in ESPN's latest 2025 NFL mock draft, Chicago flips the first round on its head applying the best player... The pick? Penn State tight end Tyler Warren. "Is tight end a primary need for Chicago?
No. Is it easy to imagine new coach Ben Johnson dialing up some incredible concepts and play designs revolving around Warren? Oh, yes," ESPN's Field Yates wrote. "Offensive line would have been the clear priority for the Bears, but they totally revamped their interior by trading for guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson and then also signing center Drew Dalman. The trenches already look much better on paper. So, let's get Warren, who is tremendous after the catch and could help quarterback Caleb Williams in a big way, into the top 10."
With the NFL Draft kicking off tonight, here's a final compilation of what local and national reporters are predicting the Bears will do with the No. 10 pick: Brad Biggs, Chicago Tribune Pick: Georgia edge rusher Mykel Williams Comment: If Cam Ward is the only quarterback selected in the first nine picks and the Bears can't get one of the elite prospects... If no suitable move is available, they can use the pick on Michigan tight end Colston Loveland, take the first true cornerback off the board, roll the dice on an imperfect left tackle prospect... Williams is a high-ceiling prospect who can bring juice to the pass rush. Bucky Brooks, NFL.com Pick: Texas offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr.
Comment: New head coach Ben Johnson's experience with a dominant line while running the offense for division-rival Detroit could prompt him to add more resources to the Bears' front, even after it was fortified... Banks is a natural left tackle with the athleticism and shadowboxing skills to protect Caleb Williams' blind side. Dane Brugler, The Athletic Pick: Penn State tight end Tyler Warren Comment: This is a pairing that grew on me the more and more I considered it. Ben Johnson runs a decent amount of "12" personnel, which would get both Warren and Cole Kmet on the field. Warren can be for Chicago what Sam LaPorta was to Detroit the last two seasons. Walter Cherepinsky, Walter Football Pick: Penn State tight end Tyler Warren Comment: The Bears have Cole Kmet, so this selection could be confusing until you consider that they lost Keenan Allen and didn't replace...
With Allen gone, the Bears could draft an elite tight end and go to a two-tight end set. Ensuring that Caleb Williams is protected has been the priority of the Chicago Bears' offseason. With three news starters added to the offensive line in Joe Thuney, Drew Dalman, and Jonah Jackson, the Bears could complete the overhaul by finding their long-term left tackle in the 2025 NFL Draft. Incumbent Bears' starting left tackle Braxton Jones is returning from an ankle injury that ended his 2024 season in December, and may be limited when the team opens training camp in July. That could open the door for the Bears to address the tackle position in the first round of the draft. That is exactly what Pro Football Focus has the Bears doing.
Pro Football Focus recently did a seven-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft for every team. For the Bears, they have the focus remaining on the trenches. It's hard to take any issue with the first three selections they have for the Bears. Would be curious to know if Will Campbell and Armand Membou were taking ahead of Simmons in the first round. If that's the case, I would still think the Bears would then trade back instead of taking Simmons. Even after the signing of Dayo Odeyingbo, the Bears would be wise to add an edge rusher early in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Odeyinbo's arrival does allow for Umanmielen to be an intriguing option in the second round. Johnson has also been a name connected to the Bears throughout the offseason. The 2025 NFL Draft is a week away. FOX 32's Chris Kwiecinski looks at the top 10 of the draft, top prospects and more with The Athletic's Nick Baumgardner. It’s nearly time. The speculation is about to come to reality in the 2025 NFL Draft, and we’ll soon know who the Chicago Bears will take at No.
10 overall. With the NFL Draft just days away, FOX 32’s final edition of a 2025 NFL mock draft. It seems Ward has been trending towards Tennessee for months now. He’s been the best quarterback in the draft, and, barring any shocking last-minute moves, should be the No. 1 overall pick for a team that’s been in quarterback purgatory since the end of the Ryan Tannehill era. Last mock draft selection: QB Shedeur Sanders
WCG’s lead draft analyst shares his final Bears mock draft for the 2025 class. The wait is finally over: the 2025 NFL Draft starts today. Draft Day will bring an end to the endless months of speculation, rumors and predictions made by everyone under the sun, from draft experts to talking heads to the typical fan in La Grange,... Naturally, we had to squeeze in one last mock draft for the Bears before the draft actually kicks off. For my final mock draft, I will be operating under the assumption that the Bears stay put with all of their picks. I don’t expect they will, but I’m keeping everything as it stands to present potential opportunities where Chicago stands heading into the draft.
