Jahmyr Gibbs stormed his way to the overall RB1 finish by scoring 46.0 PPR points while running back David Montgomery was sidelined by an MCL sprain in Week 18 last year. Rather than viewing Gibbs’ fantasy-point outpouring as an extraordinary ceiling indicator, the fantasy community has pushed Gibbs down to the consensus 1.05 pick this year. Jackson smartly exploits Gibbs’ mispriced ADP, taking him as the 1.01 while Montgomery enters his age-28 season.

Bijan Robinson is likewise a candidate to finish as fantasy football’s top non-quarterback scorer, playing in an expectedly improved offense with quarterback Michael Penix Jr. under center. Crawford gets Robinson at value with the 1.04. Malik Nabers totaled 165 targets in his 2024 rookie season, the second-most in the NFL. He enters year two with a trio of strong-armed quarterbacks at the ready. Cooterdoodle drafting him one spot ahead of ADP still feels like a bargain.

Lindberg stands out as the only manager to draft running backs consecutively in the top two rounds, first selecting Christian McCaffrey before adding De’Von Achane. Both players could lead the position in receptions. McCaffrey enters his age-29 season, following a 2024 campaign derailed by recurring bilateral Achilles tendonitis, a calf strain and a season-ending PCL sprain. I stay the course and draft Brock Bowers at 2.03 as planned, unnerved by the Raiders pairing but comforted by each player’s potential to finish as their positional touch-count leader in 2025. Daugherty begins building a youthful and elite running back corps by drafting last year’s RB13 finisher, Bucky Irving, in Round 2. Irving spent of his 2024 rookie season earning the starting role in-season.

Pass-catching specialist, running back Rachaad White, strained his groin during preseason Week 1 play. Our Fantasy Football Today Draft-A-Thon to raise money for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital isn't over yet, but we surpassed our goal and could set a new record. We aimed to raise at least $100,000, but as of August 15, we have surpassed $159,000 and are still counting. Thank you so much to everyone who donated, and we greatly appreciate your generosity. Part of the donations were participating in mock drafts with us, and we held our fourth 12-team, PPR mock draft this week. This draft had some interesting selections, including Josh Jacobs at No. 8 overall and Justin Jefferson falling to No. 11. We know not every draft will follow the same blueprint, so I encourage you to check out the results. And three managers stood out with either their strategy or some intriguing selections.

For example, Billy Ward had the No. 12 spot, and he built a very balanced roster, including Nico Collins, Derrick Henry, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Omarion Hampton with his first four picks. But Ward waited on a tight end and ended up with Dallas Goedert with his last pick in Round 13. © Copyright 2010- FantasyPros.com Do Not Sell My Personal Information (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Fantasy football season is here.

Every year millions of people play fantasy and with that comes the prep work to make sure that every draft is one that can produce a champion. This article will go through what happened in a real draft for a standard-scoring league of 10 teams and analyze the results of a standard-scoring league. Here are 2025 fantasy football draft results. Team number one had the first pick, pick number 20, 21, etc. The teams following this one will follow the draft order. Players: WR Ja’Marr Chase, WR Tyreek Hill, RB De’Von Achane, QB Joe Burrow, RB James Conner, TE Sam LaPorta, WR Rome Odunze, WR Chris Godwin, RB Joe Mixon, WR Jayden Reed, RB Tank Bigsby,...

Team 1 took plenty of risks, whether that is Tyreek Hill (trade requests) and De’Von Achane in the starting lineup, or to their depth with Joe Mixon and Chris Godwin. The starting lineup is good when healthy, but the depth could pose a problem down the stretch. The rising importance of the 2026 NFL Draft for several teams came into focus after last week's trade deadline. With the New York Jets having dealt cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts, there are now four NFL teams that have multiple first-round picks in April. And with the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants having already fired their head coaches, several fan bases are probably ready to close the book on this season and enter offseason mode. But with the first-round order still shifting significantly week to week, there's still ample time for team's draft fortunes to rise or fall.

With that said, here's USA TODAY Sports' latest first-round projection and 2026 NFL mock draft: There's a strong possibility for Tennessee to possess the No. 1 pick in consecutive years after the Saints' and Browns' victories left the Titans as the only one-win team remaining. And that creates a bit of a mystery atop the order. An organization that's yet again rebooting would clearly stand to benefit from trading back and stockpiling more early selections to support Cam Ward. Yet this quarterback class doesn't seem particularly conducive to drumming up a bidding war for this choice.

If Tennessee does end up in the slot and stands pat, it could supercharge its defense with Reese. Though he operates as a linebacker for the Buckeyes, the 6-foot-4, 243-pounder has Micah Parsons-like movement abilities that could be best put to use in a full-time edge rushing role. The Titans could pair him with Jeffery Simmons to create one of the league's most formidable inside-outside tandems and then use the rest of the draft – and free agency – to focus on... A franchise with a decades-long habit of being trigger-shy when it comes to selecting quarterbacks might be hard-pressed to go this route, especially if Tyler Shough continues to exhibit the promise he displayed in... But unless the second-round rookie firmly establishes himself as New Orleans' answer at the position in the back half of the season, Mendoza might be massively alluring. The Heisman Trophy front-runner now also figures to be the favorite to be the first quarterback taken, with his game-winning drive against Penn State highlighting resiliency and a knack for operating out of structure...

The 6-5, 225-pounder is the kind of precise thrower who could allow Kellen Moore to launch a new era for the organization in earnest. Over the last month, I’ve organized mock drafts with analysts from around the industry, which can all be found in the Yahoo Fantasy Football Draft Kit. This week, I decided to take a different approach and use the Yahoo Fantasy Plus Instant Mock Draft tool to quickly test my skills with the fourth pick overall. [Join or create a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the 2025 NFL season] The scoring format for this mock is full PPR (point per reception) with the following roster spots: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, BN, BN, BN, BN. And as always, I excluded defenses and kickers, since they should only be drafted in the final rounds.

After the Christian McCaffrey debacle last summer, it’s understandable if some fantasy managers want to avoid anyone in the opening round who’s dealing with an injury. By all accounts, the Vikings are being extra cautious and Jefferson’s hamstring should have plenty of time to heal before Week 1. In a full-PPR league, taking a player who’s finished as a top-five fantasy receiver each of the last four years is an easy selection. However, if you are worried about Jefferson’s injury, Jahmyr Gibbs is a fine choice here. There's a misconception floating around about the 2026 NFL Draft. Before this college season kicked off, Texas' Arch Manning, South Carolina's LaNorris Sellers and LSU's Garrett Nussmeier were widely viewed as the top eligible quarterback prospects.

Those three haven't quite met the early expectations, which has some people jumping to the conclusion that this is a "weak" QB class. In reality, the rise of Indiana's Fernando Mendoza (my QB1 back in May), Alabama's Ty Simpson and Oregon's Dante Moore has reshaped the board. All three still have remaining eligibility and could theoretically return to school in 2026, but in today's thought exercise, they come off the board quickly -- just not at No. 1 overall. Four teams enter the first round with multiple picks, while just as many have none. The Browns and Rams dealt away theirs in separate draft-day moves a year ago, and the Jets and Cowboys moved on from Quinnen Williams and Micah Parsons, respectively.

To set the stage, here are the current odds to be the No. 1 overall pick (via FanDuel Sportsbook). Reminder: This is the current NFL draft order after Week 10 (via Tankathon). The Tennessee Titans and New York Giants lost in competitive nature in Week 11. That's the most beneficial type of result for both teams because they played respectable football, but also remained in the top two of the projected 2026 NFL draft order. Tennessee is still the only NFL team with a single win.

The Titans will finish yet another week on top of the draft order. The Giants are right behind them at No. 2 after they lost in Jameis Winston's first start for the franchise. .css-1582m2i{margin:0;font:inherit;font-weight:700;}.css-1yjtkls{margin:0;font:inherit;white-space:normal;word-break:break-word;}Updated 2026 NFL Draft Order The Titans lost their ninth game of the season in the final seconds.
