Everything That Happened On Day Two Of The 2025 Nfl Draft
The first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft are now complete from Green Bay. Follow pick-by-pick coverage as the NFL Draft concludes with rounds 4 through 7 today. There is one story that is dominating the headlines. Five quarterbacks have been drafted thus far, but Shedeur Sanders is not among them. After two quarterbacks – Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart – were taken in the first round on Thursday, three more were selected on Friday night. Tyler Shough went to the Saints at No.
40 in the second round. In the third round, Jalen Milroe went to the Seahawks at No. 92, followed by Dillon Gabriel going to the Browns at No. 94. Yes, Shedeur Sanders is still on the board in the NFL Draft, but he's not the only quarterback who is still alive. On Dane Brugler's list of the best players still available, this is how he ranks the remaining quarterbacks:
Dane Brugler has Florida State's Joshua Farmer as the best available defensive tackle entering today's fourth round of the NFL Draft. Farmer was a two-year starter with the Seminoles, and Brugler gave him a third-round grade entering the draft. Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft is in the books. Eric Edholm provides analysis for every player selected in Rounds 2 and 3 below. NOTE: Only trades agreed to after Day 1 began are reflected below. I thought the Browns might target an offensive player here, but Schwesinger has top-tier athletic traits, is a physical tone-setter and could nab a starting role early on.
The Texans need more after Nico Collins at receiver, and they get a very similarly profiled prospect in Higgins. Like Collins, the physically blessed Higgins could be a later bloomer who really thrives a few years into his career. Emmanwori was one of my highest-rated players left on the board entering Day 2. He's a very well-built safety whose best work is done near the line of scrimmage. If he can tackle a bit more consistently, he could be a huge factor in Seattle's secondary. After an epic first day and night of the 2025 NFL Draft, Green Bay was ready to do it all again Friday.
Day 2 of the draft featured the second and third rounds — as well as all of the fun that surrounds the draft around Lambeau Field and throughout the city. The Green Bay Press-Gazette provided live coverage throughout the day. You can check out our recap here: Attendance on Day 2 of the draft hit 175,000, according to reports. That would make this year's draft the third-biggest draw with one day left to go, according to Front Office Sports. About 205,000 football fans went to Day 1 of the draft in Green Bay, making total attendance 380,000 visitors so far.
In comparison, last year's NFL draft in Detroit saw 275,000 fans in attendance on its first day, and a record-breaking 775,000 over the full three days, according to ESPN. The 2025 NFL Draft is finally here! Mock draft season is over, and so is Round 1. The Day 2 festivities kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday from Green Bay, Wisconsin. ClutchPoints has you covered with live NFL draft grades for all the selections.
Check back after every pick to see how your team and all the league teams picked their newest potential stars. Check back right here after each pick in the second and third round of the 2025 NFL Draft for live grades! Carson Schwesinger is the best off-ball linebacker left and should be a run-and-hit missile at the next level. With the current state of the Browns' offense, I love them continuing to pound defensive difference makers to have at least one elite side of the ball. At 6-foot-4, Jayden Higgins will finally give CJ Stroud a big target to complement all the smaller, speedy receivers he already has. He's not an elite No.
1 prospect, but the Texans have other pass-catchers who are closer to that. For what the team needs, this is a solid pick. This is a fantastic pick by the Seahawks. Nick Emmanwori would have been perfect in the Legion of Boom, so it's poetic that Richard Sherman announced the pick. If Seattle picked this uber-athletic safety at No. 18, it probably would have gotten an A grade.
At pick 35, it goes even higher than that. Day 2 of the 2025 NFL draft is when the fun really begins. This year's class was short on top-end talent, but evaluators were fond of the amount of depth that can be found throughout the group. A full 300 prospects had draftable grades this cycle, although the draft only has 257 picks in total. A few high-profile options were still on the board at the start of Day 2, starting with Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders, Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III and Michigan cornerback Will Johnson.
Each of them were available for a reason, but they're exceptional values at this point of the draft. Here, we graded every pick made Friday night in Rounds 2 and 3. These selections and tomorrow's picks form the backbone of every NFL team's roster. After an incredible first night of the 2025 NFL Draft, the party continued on Day 2 in Green Bay. Teams made their second and third round picks in the draft in and around Lambeau Field on April 25. It was a brisk, but exciting evening.
The hometown Green Bay Packers continued to bolster their offense, selecting tackle Anthony Belton with the 54th pick in the second round and wide receiver Savion Williams from Texas Christian University with the 87th... The Journal Sentinel provided a roundup, analysis and reaction throughout the night on all the picks, the Packers' selections and more highlights. Attendance on Day 2 of the draft hit 175,000, according to reports. That would make this year's draft the third-biggest draw with one day left to go, according to Front Office Sports. About 205,000 football fans went to Day 1 of the draft, making total attendance 380,000 visitors so far. Editor's note: Follow 2025 NFL Draft live updates, grades and analysis.
The Cleveland Browns are on the clock for Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft. The first round ended as many predicted: Unpredictable. The Jacksonville Jaguars swung a massive trade to select Travis Hunter. Star running back Ashton Jeanty heads to Las Vegas, where Pete Carroll and the Raiders get their bowling ball running back. The New York Giants traded back into the first to take Jaxson Dart. Rounds 2 and 3 offer some of that same unpredictability, with some equally intriguing names.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders was left without a chair when the music stopped in Round 1, leaving him the top passer available when the clock starts tonight. Safety Nick Emmanwori, an NFL combine standout, could also be a draft steal for a team looking to shore up the back end of their defense. If a team is looking for wide receiver help, there are several Day 2 prospects who could provide plenty of help on the boundaries.
