But the Philadelphia Eagles scored enough to pick up their seventh win of the season, a 10-7 victory against the Green Bay Packers. The game featured the first scoreless half since 2023.

Eagles kicker Jake Elliot broke the stalemate in the third quarter with a 39-yard field goal. The Eagles padded their lead in the fourth quarter when quarterback Jalen Hurts connected with DeVonta Smith for a 36-yard touchdown pass. Two playoff teams and division leaders struggling to generate any kind of offense. The Eagles and Green Bay Packers were scoreless at halftime, had just 3 points combined through three quarters, and were giving new meaning to the phrase "three yards and a cloud of dust." "I really thought it was going to end 3-0," Eagles running back Saquon Barkley said. Then just like that, the Eagles struck on two successive plays, the first made possible by Barkley's spin move after catching a short pass that should've been stopped for little gain.

Instead, Barkley spun past Packers cornerback Carrington Valentine and continued down the sideline for 41 yards. On the next play, Jalen Hurts hit DeVonta Smith for a 36-yard touchdown. GREEN BAY – The Packers struggled mightily on offense for a second straight home game and lost as a result, this time 10-7 to the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles on Monday Night Football... Here are five takeaways from the defeat: For the second consecutive game, the Packers didn't find the end zone until the latter stages of the fourth quarter. Even worse, until that touchdown with 5:49 left they had exactly zero points due to a litany of mistakes – many of the same types that have plagued the offense much of the season.

In some games, the Packers have overcome those errors and still found enough production to win. But not the last two games, and they've dropped from first to third place in the NFC North at 5-3-1 because of it. "We're not getting any consistency right now," said QB Jordan Love, who threw for just 176 yards despite 36 pass attempts, completing 20. "We're not getting into a rhythm. We'll have a good play here, and then a negative play, whether it's a turnover, penalty, drop, sack … you know, it's a lot of things." Monday’s matchup between two NFC heavyweights gave us entertainment.

It’s just that it didn’t come in the form of explosive offensive football. The Eagles (7-2) edged the Packers (5-3-1) Monday night at Lambeau Field 10-7 for their third straight victory. It marked Green Bay’s second straight loss. The Eagles held a 3-0 lead deep into the second half of Monday’s defensive battle. But it was their early fourth-quarter touchdown drive that gave them a cushion down the stretch. And it came as a result of their two biggest plays of the game, which came back-to-back.

First, it was star running back Saquon Barkley — held to 40 rushing yards and two catches for zero yards through three quarters — who caught a pass in the flat, hit a defender... The next play, quarterback Jalen Hurts hit DeVonta Smith for a 36-yard touchdown that gave the Eagles a 10-0 lead. If there were one word to describe the Philadelphia Eagles' 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers on "Monday Night Football" to close Week 10, it would be bizarre. Over the final two-and-a-half minutes, Packers coach Matt LaFleur and Eagles coach Nick Sirianni took turns making baffling coaching decisions. It started, in earnest, when Sirianni called back-to-back pass plays after the Packers called their first timeout of the second half with 2:34 left in regulation. Many believed the Eagles – who were facing a second-and-8 – would run it at least once more to force Green Bay to use another timeout.

Instead, Jalen Hurts threw two incompletions, and the Eagles had to punt the ball back to the Packers, giving Green Bay a chance to mount a game-tying or game-winning drive with 2:18 left in... But the Packers couldn't capitalize on that opportunity. They got near midfield only to see LaFleur and Co. dial up a shotgun run on fourth-and-1 during which Josh Jacobs was stuffed behind the line and fumbled, ending the drive. NFL Research: The Eagles-Packers game featured the NFL’s first scoreless first half since a Week 14, 2023, Vikings-Raiders game.

Earlier that same day, the Texans-Jets game also saw a scoreless first half. It was the first Monday night game with no score at halftime since a Ravens-Browns contest in Week 10, 2009. Honestly, I don't really know if I want to write about it. But let's get it out of the way and talk about it now so we never have to speak about it again. The Philadelphia Eagles came out on top of a defensive showdown against the Green Bay Packers, winning by a final score of 10-7. Here are a few takeaways from Monday's ugly win: In his first three years as an Eagle, A.J. Brown has been an All-Pro and has put up 1,000-yard seasons every year.

Inexplicably, Brown was targeted just three times in Monday night's win. GREEN BAY, Wis. -- - Jaelan Phillips could sense the different mentality that a defending champion exudes as soon as the Philadelphia Eagles added him at the trade deadline. Phillips wasted no time doing his part to contribute to the Eagles' title defense. In his first game with the Eagles since they acquired him from the Miami Dolphins, Phillips made two of the biggest plays of the game to help Philadelphia outlast the Green Bay Packers 10-7... "The biggest thing I noticed was just no panic," Phillips said.

"The whole entire time, there was just utmost confidence on both sides of the ball. It felt really good to be in that environment." Phillips recovered a fumble by Jordan Love to thwart a Green Bay scoring opportunity in the final minute of the first half and helped make a fourth-and-1 stop late in the fourth quarter. Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles went into Lambeau Field and squeaked out a 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers to improve to 7-2 on the season while remaining in first place in the... At the same time, the Packers are now 5-3-1 and have lost their last two games. With Monday Night Football in the books, we have a takeaway for both Green Bay and Philly.

That was an absolute and unmitigated disaster. Perhaps I cannot be unbiased because I am a Green Bay fan, but the Packers have been embarrassed in back-to-back weeks in two games they should have won easily. From the head coach to the quarterback to the offensive line, everybody failed last night. Let's start with the o-line, which can't block for sh*t. It has been a problem the entire season. Though analytics will argue the Packers are good at pass blocking, I actually have eyes and can confirm that it is one of the unit's biggest weaknesses, which is incredibly worrisome considering how bad...

It seemed like there was an Eagles defender in Jordan Love's face every other time he dropped back to throw the ball, which isn't exactly a recipe for success against the defending Super Bowl... The only time JLove had success last night was when he got outside of the pocket and didn't have a defender barreling towards him. Speaking of Jordan Love, last night might have been his worst game as a professional outside of his first start against the Chiefs in Kansas City four years ago. If he wasn't missing receivers, Love was watching his passes get batted down at the line of scrimmage or knocked away by defensive backs. We also have to mention that extremely stupid fumble he had right before halftime when Green Bay was driving and in field goal position. Jordan Love is in his fifth season in the NFL and in his third year as a starter.

Everybody knows in that situation you can't afford to do two things: 1. take a sack, and 2. turn the ball over. He managed to do both of those things in one play. For as good as Love has been at times this year, that was arguably the worst play made by any quarterback during the 2025-26 regular season. At the end of the day, though, I put most of the blame for the Packers' recent struggles on head coach Matt LaFleur.

Green Bay has looked completely overmatched in its last two games, which is an indictment of the coaching staff. The playcalling has been so unimaginative that on a must-have-it 4th and 1 with less than two minutes to go in the game, the Eagles stuffed a rushing attempt that the whole defense knew... They even guessed the exact play before it happened! The grace period for Matt LaFleur is long gone. He has spent the entire season coaching in fear, and as a result, the Packers have gone from first place in the NFC North to third place in just two weeks. If something doesn't change offensively, LaFleur will be out of a job by the end of the season.
