The Justice Department has released a trove of documents related to the life, death and criminal investigation of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, including many that have already been made public from prior disclosures. Others are filled with heavy redactions. Among the new, previously unseen files released Friday were several photos of former President Bill Clinton, including one of him in a hot tub with a person whose face has been redacted. Another shows Clinton standing next to Epstein. Clinton is also pictured at an event with rock star Mick Jagger and a female whose face has been redacted. Some of the most sought after information was redacted, including 119 pages of New York grand jury testimony.

Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., who co-sponsored the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which legally required the files be released, expressed disappointment with the contents during an NPR interview with Mary Louise Kelly on All Things Considered... Khanna said the drop didn't contain the files he was looking for, stating the release "seems at very best incomplete." The Department of Justice has not responded to a request for comment about the discrepancy, and it's unclear why the files are missing a day after they were initially released.
