OPC 2025 Grants - Now accepting applications! The Ohio Preservation Council has updated the grant procedures and awards to reflect the current emphasis on remote learning and virtual conferences. Grants may also be used toward allied professional memberships. Ohio Preservation Council offers awards of up to $500 each in support of continuing education for Ohio Students and Professionals with an interest in preserving our cultural heritage. State Library of Ohio Library Services and Technology Act Conservation and Preservation Grant (OH) The State Library of Ohio, in partnership with the Ohio Preservation Council (OPC), is pleased to announce the availability of LSTA funds of up to $4,999 for libraries to conserve a single item or... The item(s) selected for conservation/preservation should be unique, valuable (culturally or monetarily), and as a cultural artifact speak to the mission and values of the applying institution.

Additionally, as a cultural artifact or collection it should reflect some element of the historic and artistic record of Ohio. This is in accordance with goals outlined in The State Library of Ohio’s Five Year LSTA Plan. All analog formats, including book and paper, object, and artwork are appropriate. This is an active grant from State Library of Ohio. Ohio LSTA Conservation Grant applications submitted to the State Library of Ohio are reviewed by a committee of OPC preservation professionals to ensure they meet eligibility guidelines and preservation standards.
