The Colleges of the Fenway (COF) is a consortium of five colleges located in or near the Fenway neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. The association promotes collaboration among its member schools to enhance the variety of educational programs; to gain economics benefits through shared research, medical, and dining facilities; and to provide students, faculty, and staff with... As of 2024[update], there are five member institutions: The five colleges, each with its own unique mission, offer specialized learning and experiences on and off campus. Collectively, the COF represent more than 12,000 full-time undergraduate students (16.2% of all students attending four-year colleges in greater Boston), nearly 700 full-time faculty, and more than 2,300 course offerings. Shared initiatives among the five colleges are aimed at enhancing the quality of education, enriching student experiences and reducing costs through sharing of resources.

For example, the second floor of a new dormitory at MassArt is a Student Health Center, shared by students of MassArt, Wentworth Institute of Technology, and MCPHS University.[1] The Consortium has an agreement with the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to extend University Membership benefits to all associated students, faculty, and staff.[2] Collaborative student opportunities include formal cross-registration which allows access to over 1,500 courses otherwise not available on the student's home campus.[3] Students may use career centers, intramural sports, performing arts, student life programs and... Students may also participate in shared social events planned by the Colleges of the Fenway and various groups throughout the campuses. Students may live at their school of attendance or in the campus dormitories of the other member schools. The hallmark of the five college consortium, cross-registration enables undergraduate students to take courses that may not be offered at their home institution, in addition to the chance to create unique academic minors. Over 2,000 courses are available to Simmons undergraduate students through cross-registration within the Colleges of the Fenway. The Colleges of the Fenway is a consortium of five distinct institutions in Boston that collaborate to provide resources, experiences, academic opportunities, and more to students across all campuses.

The Colleges of the Fenway include Emmanuel College, Simmons University, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt), and Wentworth Institution of Technology. Students who attend any of these five institutions are able to take classes, participate in extracurricular activities, and make use of facilities at any other institution within the consortium. Emmanuel College is a small, Catholic, liberal arts college located a 10-minute walk from Fenway Stadium. It provides an intimate academic experience, with all classes taught by professors and capped at 35 students. Simmons University is a women-focused liberal arts school that prioritizes marginalized genders and boasts an extremely inclusive community. Simmons has excellent support programs for LGBTQIA+ students, students struggling with mental health, and students with learning differences. Students at Simmons are very driven and career-focused, with the goal of college being to graduate and enter the workforce. MCPHS is a healthcare-focused university that offers a wide range of articulation programs that allow students access to accelerated tracks to advanced degrees, including their most popular 6-year Pharm-D program. MassArt is the country’s only public art university. It offers a wide variety of BFA programs that center on studio work rather than traditional classes.
