The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) has raised its income threshold to 110% of the State Median Income, making families earning up to $128,724 annually for a household of three—or $153,244 for a family... The change opens the program to approximately 2,000 additional families. "Expanding access to affordable child care comes at a crucial moment for many Seattle families already facing economic hardships during these uncertain times," said Mayor Bruce Harrell. "I am pleased this new expansion will serve even more working families and provide financial relief as we approach the holiday season." Families who complete applications by November 30 could receive up to $807 per month in co-pay support for the remainder of 2025. On average, CCAP participants save $10,000 annually on child care costs.
