Charlie Kirk S Widow Breaks Silence Hours After Donald Trump Announces
American Airlines and Delta Air Lines confirmed that employees have been removed from duty after making celebratory or mocking remarks online about the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy announced Saturday that American Airlines pilots involved had been “immediately grounded” and urged their permanent removal. “This behavior is disgusting and they should be fired,” Duffy wrote on X. “Any company responsible for the safety of the traveling public cannot tolerate that behavior. We heal as a country when we send the message that glorifying political violence is completely unacceptable.”
American Airlines issued a statement saying it “condemns violence of any kind” and that “hate-related or hostile behavior runs contrary to our purpose, which is to care for people on life’s journey. Any such behavior is unacceptable, and we have already initiated action to address this with our team.” FOX Business reported that Delta also suspended multiple employees after they posted on social media about Kirk’s assassination. Delta told FOX 5 Atlanta that the conduct violated company policy and could result in termination. CEO Ed Bastian reminded staff in an internal memo that “whether we’re in uniform and on the clock, online or out in public, our colleagues, customers and communities expect us to reflect Delta’s values.” President Trump said Thursday that Charlie Kirk’s widow is “devastated” after her husband was savagely gunned down by a lone shooter during a speaking event in Utah Wednesday afternoon.
Trump told reporters outside the White House that he had spoken at length with Erika Frantzve, the 31-year-old conservative activist’s wife and mother of his two young children. She said the "evildoers" responsible for his death "should all know this: If you thought my husband's mission was powerful before, you have no idea," she said on Fox News Friday evening. "You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country, and this world."
Kirk was speaking on the first stop of his "American Comeback Tour" at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, when he was fatally shot. A suspect is in custody. The tour had 14 more dates planned at college campuses, according to Charlie Kirk's organization, Turning Point USA. The next stop was scheduled for Sep. 18 at Colorado State University. His radio show and podcast The Charlie Kirk Show aired daily, and Erika Kirk said it will continue.
Bernd Debusmann Jr and Mike WendlingBBC News Born in a suburb of Chicago in 1993, Charlie Kirk got started early in conservative politics, first penning an essay for right-wing Breitbart News at the age of 18, accusing schools of spreading "propaganda"... He caught the eye of Bill Montgomery, a retired businessman and Tea Party activist more than 50 years his senior, who took Kirk under his wing. In 2012 – around the midpoint of Barack Obama's presidency – the pair founded Turning Point USA, a group which focused on conservative activism on college campuses, spreading rapidly along with Kirk's social media... The group tapped into online media and spread a slickly packaged style of conservatism to young people. It won him a speaking place, aged 22, at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

PHOENIX, ARIZONA: Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk's wife Erika Kirk thanked President Donald Trump on Friday, September 12, during her first public words since her husband was shot dead on Wednesday, September 10, in Utah. Erika stood at a podium next to her late husband’s podcasting chair in Phoenix, Arizona, during an emotional appearance in front of reporters. Law enforcement announced on Friday morning that the alleged suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, had been arrested. An emotional Erika Kirk said during her speech, "I want to thank President Trump and his incredible family. Mr President, my husband loved you. And he knew that you loved him, too.
He did. Your friendship was amazing. You supported him so well." Meanwhile, the POTUS, during an appearance on 'Fox & Friends' on Friday, called Charlie Kirk an "unbelievable warrior" and "a great man" who is going to be "more important because of what happened". Erika Kirk recently sat down for a rare interview, her first since the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk, on September 10. According to the New York Post, Kirk, in her interview with Fox News, spoke about the difficult moment when she learned of her husband’s death.
She also discussed how it continues to affect her and her children months later. In one part of the interview, she addressed the numerous conspiracy theories circulating online about his death and said: Charlie Kirk, who founded Turning Point USA, was assassinated while attending a speaking event as part of his American Comeback tour at Utah Valley University. According to People Magazine, just a few hours after the incident, President Donald Trump released a statement confirming his death. Two days after the assassination, Erika Kirk was announced as the new CEO of Turning Point USA. Two weeks later, she organized a public funeral for Charlie Kirk, an event attended by high-profile leaders like JD Vance and Donald Trump.
In her rare interview on the Jesse Watters Primetime show, released on Wednesday, November 5, Erika Kirk spoke about how she has not seen the video of Charlie Kirk's assassination. She added that it is something she does not want her children to ever see. She said: Kirk also spoke about how she found out about the assassination after receiving a call from the Chief of Staff of Turning Point USA, while she was visiting the doctor with her mother. She said: Erika Kirk also opened up about her thoughts regarding pushing for the death penalty for Tyler Robinson, who was arrested for the murder of Charlie Kirk.
In the interview, she said she did not "want this man's blood" on her "ledger," but would let the government decide the outcome. Charlie Kirk's Legacy Ignites Outpouring of Grief and Support The assassination of conservative media personality Charlie Kirk on Wednesday sent shockwaves through the nation, sparking an immediate outpouring of grief and an unexpected surge in support for his organization, Turning Point USA (TPUSA). Kirk, 31, died at a local hospital after being shot at Utah Valley University while speaking at a campus event. Within hours, President Donald Trump announced the arrest of the alleged shooter, identified by sources as 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson. The swift apprehension, just 33 hours after the shooting, was lauded by Trump, who specifically praised FBI Director Kash Patel for his hands-on involvement in the investigation.
Sources revealed Patel's unusual level of participation, including personally overseeing evidence collection and its rapid transport to FBI labs in Quantico. Robinson is currently being held on suspicion of aggravated murder and other charges, with the Justice Department considering federal prosecution. Erika Kirk, Charlie's widow and a former Miss Arizona USA, delivered her first public statement just two days after the tragedy. Speaking from a podium bearing the inscription "May Charlie be received into the merciful arms of Jesus, our loving savior," Erika thanked supporters, including President Trump and Vice President JD Vance, before expressing unwavering... She cited Ephesians 5:25 – "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself up for her" – as a testament to Charlie's life and sacrifice. Erika’s powerful address, where she described her late husband's vision for strengthening the American family, resonated deeply.
Her declaration that TPUSA’s mission would not falter, and would in fact grow stronger, has been met with a dramatic response. Minnesota State Representative Elliott Engen reported on X an astonishing 18,000 new chapter requests for TPUSA since Erika's speech – a significant increase from their previous 9,000 college and 1,100 high school chapters.
