As the prospect-evaluation period winds down, it's time for me to take a second crack at projecting Round 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft (April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin). Trades obviously will be a major element of the real thing next month, but just like in my first mock, I'm keeping everyone in their current draft slots. It appears the Titans continue to be open for business with the No. 1 overall pick. In this scenario, they stay at No. 1 and find their new face of the franchise.

Sanders fits head coach Kevin Stefanski's run-first, heavy play-action attack quite well. I wouldn’t rule out a quarterback for the Giants here if Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders were available, even after the signings of Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston. With the top QBs already off the board in this mock, New York lands the prospect many believe is the best player in the draft. The Patriots have addressed needs on defense and at receiver in free agency, but they shouldn’t stop at Stefon Diggs and Mack Hollins when it comes to adding more weapons for Drake Maye. We know Hunter can impact the game on both sides of the ball, but New England can’t pass on a chance to truly strike fear into defenses for the first time in a while... Charles Davis projects the New England Patriots to select Travis Hunter with the fourth overall pick.

Despite addressing needs on defense and at receiver in free agency, Davis believes the Patriots can't pass on Hunter's unique two-way talent. In his second mock of the 2025 NFL Draft, Charles Davis projects the New England Patriots to land two-way star Travis Hunter. Plus, a pair of NFC East squads get WR help. In his first mock draft, Mike Band projects the New York Jets to trade up to the fifth overall pick to select Travis Hunter. The Jets, needing help at both receiver and cornerback, see Hunter as an ideal fit to showcase his rare two-way talent. In his first mock of the 2025 NFL Draft, Mike Band projects a team will trade up for two-way star Travis Hunter. Plus, the Seahawks continue to remake their receiving corps, while the Chiefs aggressively land an offensive tackle. Phil Perry brings you his second NFL Mock Draft pick for the Patriots with the 4th overall pick, as a couple of trades before them secures New England a chance to draft a star The Senior Bowl has come and gone.

Super Bowl LIX is just days away. And there are lessons to be taken from both that we'll apply to our latest NFL Mock Draft. Despite featuring one of the league's best quarterbacks in Patrick Mahomes, the Super Bowl very could well be determined by big bodies in the trenches. Can Kansas City's Chris Jones create enough disruption to stop the Eagles offense? Or is Philly's offensive line too good? On the other side, can anyone on the Chiefs offensive line stop Jalen Carter and the Eagles' fleet of pass-rushers?

Suffice it to say, as teams look to replicate what makes the NFL's best rosters its best rosters, you'll see a huge number of offensive and defensive linemen taken in the first round in... Site Managed by PCQB WordPress Solutions The NFL Combine is now in the rear-view mirror, leaving scouts and personnel analysts even more data to comb over ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. The new information has caused several mock drafts to shift considerably. But one analyst is putting out his first mock draft of the season: the NFL Network’s Charles Davis. Davis released a full first-round mock on Wednesday.

On3 takes a look at Davis’ mock, highlighting some of the projections inside the top 10 picks of the draft. Notably, Davis has three quarterbacks going in the first three picks. Let’s dive into the rest below. If you’re looking for a quarterback with some polished flash to his game, look no further than Sanders. He was excellent creating from within the structure of the pocket or getting loose to extend plays. The other thing that stands out about Sanders is that he was playing on a team that won just one game the year prior to his arrival.

Colorado won nine games this year. That’s the kind of elevating your team that the NFL craves from the quarterback spot, and it’s what Tennessee desperately needs. Entering the 2025 offseason, the Patriots were a team in transition in need of top players at lots of positions. Free agency was one place that needs could be met, and the team did to an extent. Bringing in Milton Williams helped the defensive tackle (DT) situation dramatically. Added to a healthy Christian Barmore and Keion White, the Pats present a formidable trio at DT.

They added a solid No. 2 in Carlton Davis III to the corner room. As a fly-around-the-field option at linebacker, Robert Spillane added a new and exciting dimension to the second line defense. In addition, on offense, the Pats bolstered the (N)O-line by adding a long-in-the-tooth but still effective warrior at right tackle, Morgan Moses. And Mack Hollins adds to the wide receiver room to an extent, as well. Vrabel has primarily gone defense, as speculated in free agency.

Yet, the wide receiver No. 1 and 2 positions still need to be addressed, as well as the all-important left-tackle position. We'll see how Mike Vrabel can address the positions still lacking in this mock draft. The thought here is, he does it in style. When you get lucky and have a chance to draft the best player in the draft, you just do it. The chips fall nicely for the Patriots, and with the No.

4 pick overall in the NFL draft, they select a two-position superstar prospect, Colorado's Travis Hunter. There's no better selection they could have made. Hunter is arguably the best wide receiver (WR) in the draft and almost certainly the best cornerback. The No. 1 wide receiver-needy Pats need an infusion of talent and excitement in the WR room. Hunter instantaneously provides it.

In addition, he can slot in as a third-down cornerback in style. Charles Davis joined NFL Media in 2006 and currently serves as an analyst on NFL Network's "NFL Total Access" and "Around the League." A former defensive back at the University of Tennessee, Davis also... In his final mock of the 2025 NFL Draft, Charles Davis projects only one quarterback coming off the board in Round 1. Plus, the Super Bowl champion Eagles select a tight end. Check out the full first-round projection, 1-32. With the 2025 NFL Draft just around the corner, Charles Davis provides his annual rundown of prospects he would pound the table for.

The 12-player list predominantly highlights potential middle- and late-round diamonds in the rough. In his second mock of the 2025 NFL Draft, Charles Davis projects the New England Patriots to land two-way star Travis Hunter. Plus, a pair of NFC East squads get WR help. Check out the full first-round projection, 1-32. In his first mock of the 2025 NFL Draft, Charles Davis has three quarterbacks flying off the board in the first three picks! Plus, the Commanders grab another weapon for Jayden Daniels.

Check out his full first-round projection, 1-32. The Patriots came out of the initial free-agency wave with a remade defense after filling several holes on that side of the ball. Following a season where they ranked 30th in DVOA, head coach Mike Vrabel and the Pats brass made positive strides in fixing the defense, which was as in need of a facelift as the... It was good to see a calculated approach with a clear vision for how the coaches will integrate the defensive players added in free agency. For example, prized free agent addition Milton Williams projects nicely into a game-wrecking role in the interior defensive line, a spot that Vrabel and DC Terrell Williams have utilized well over the years, while... Although the defense improved, the Patriots still have work to do on offense.

They've yet to add a left tackle or a needle-moving playmaker. However, following a thoughtful approach to rebuilding the defense, one would think that the "big three" decision-makers of Vrabel, EVP of Player Personnel Eliot Wolf, and VP of Player Personnel Ryan Cowden will come... After doing a "dream scenario" mock draft where Heisman winner Travis Hunter fell to the Patriots at No. 4 overall, this simulation will project a seven-round draft for New England where Hunter and top pass-rusher Abdul Carter are off the board, so keep that in mind. Here's a second stab at a Patriots mock draft following the initial wave of free agency.
