Being a member supports a number of critical initiatives offered by ONA, including: We offer four membership tiers to match where you are in the industry: Professional: Join here(One year: $75 / Three years: $150)Open to any person whose principal livelihood comes from creating, producing, or supervising the creation or production of journalism for digital distribution. Professional members are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors and as Board Officers. Academic: Join here(One year: $75 / Three years: $150)Open to high school, college and university faculty and other academic professionals, including trainers, with research or teaching interests in journalism produced for digital distribution. Academic members may serve on the Board of Directors and as Secretary and/or Treasurer.

Finalists will be announced in August and winners will be honored both in a virtual event late August and during the 2025 Online Journalism Awards luncheon at ONA25 in New Orleans.
